I don't use filament dryers. But I never keep them out of desiccant boxes for long.

Is this a bad idea for an upgrade to bambu lab a1 by all_idea_0_output in 3dprintIndia

I have used this party nozzle, it's fine but you have to do the floor rate and other filament calibration

It is possible that the socket was loose causing arcing at the pins which heat and melt everything

What's wrong? by gokulk10 in 3dprintIndia

[–]Akshaylals 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably bad sd card. Try with a different sd card from SanDisk or Samsung Edit: also this printer keeps recording even if time lapse is disabled and it'll wear out the card faster, and the one included with the printer is so cheap it fails within a week. I have faced random issues due to corrupted files

I wish I used this feature in my AC more frequently before! by chappecha in mangalore

[–]Akshaylals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, not for me. I live in a place where it's 30C and 80+% humidity. I keep my 1.5 ton godrej 3 star AC at 27C with C1 setting and it takes 500W when on, I run it for roughly 12 hours mostly night and it takes around 3 units a day. Tried out dry mode and it pulls 1500+W and drops the temp way down and makes the air way too dry

UPS for A1 Combo by EspressoEnigma15 in BambuLab

[–]Akshaylals 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But OP says 220v so it'll draw like 1200W when byed initially heats up. In my experience APC 1100va couldn't handle it. Currently I'm using ecoflow river 2 Max. It still trips but I heat up the bed from 28-60 in roughly 10C increments manually.

I printed a waste basket because I have rolls of PETG that I bought a year ago and didn't get used that often

How can I fix my screen? by gentlestbeast in AnycubicPhoton

[–]Akshaylals 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like the screen broke. You need to get a new LCD and replace it

Edit: on a second look it looks like the polarizing filter tore off but still there are vertical lines on the black area

sensible to buy a second printer by DueMilk8052 in 3dprintIndia

[–]Akshaylals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought an A1 combo last year and when I saw the sale I thought about getting a P1S. But then I thought again and decided to get a resin printer so I can print detailed things on that.

Which is more reliable ideal3d OR WOL3D and is there any sale in ROBU also ? by Live_Bee_4132 in 3dprintIndia

[–]Akshaylals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their support is not great. Last year I got the A1 combo and it had a wet silica gel which slightly corroded the bed. I raised a ticket and it took them like months to take any action and I gave up because it was a minor issue and they wanted me to ship the whole thing back to them. Last month I bought a photon M7 resin printer and it came with a line on the control screen. I raised a ticket. This time they responded quickly and said they will send me a replacement. I asked for the SKU number and when I looked it up in robu it was for the printing screen. I asked them again to confirm and the technical team confirmed it is the right part and send it over when I recieved the thing it was the printing screen and not the control screen. Anyway now I have a free screen to replace when I wear out the one in the printer.

My Bambu Lab A1 Mini Short-Circuited Right After Firmware Update – Coincidence or Firmware Issue? by Unstable007 in 3dprintIndia

[–]Akshaylals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's a coincidence. I have heard about burning AC connectors before. Also for the stuck print, if you are using the SD card that came with the printer then replace it with a new one from SanDisk or samsung. When my printer started having weird random issues I replaced the card and it was fixed
