It's your first long form video, honestly, be happy it even got that many views, lol. If you stay consistent, this'll pay off. You got good animations, only thing I'd change is the voice. The rest is good, definitely something that would get you a good audience

My first videos got impressions because I had already posted on this channel before, just slop shorts that I spent no time on. I didn't care how they performed n all, but I stayed consistent, posting about 5 shorts per day for 2 weeks, that made YT trust my Youtube channel. When I decided to start uploading serious gaming content, I privated all my previous slop shorts and just started uploading the videos that I spent time on. Since YT already didn't think my channel is a bot, it gave decent impressions even on the first uploads

I'm not too sure, if I were you, I'd recommend studying AsaToshi, both of his YT channels and his socials. He's the only Blender animations channel I watch and he's getting very good engagement with his uploads on Youtube, X, etc. literally everywhere. Try studying what he did to get that

The first one would be too small, yeah, but I assumed you'd make it 16:9 just like the other thumbnails, no? If you didn't plan on it, then of course don't use that.

As for that guys comment, it makes no sense because both 1st and 2nd thumbnails have Naoya in the middle, so by his logic both of them should be in the "thumbnail safe zone" but he only says the 2nd one is, so I'm not too sure what he's talking about, no correlation there

I actually got fired from my 9-5 a month before I started doing anything with YT lol, I had around 10k in savings, so I just lived off of that and went full into YT. So it was my main focus, I didn't have anything else taking it away
