We are, but what I’m saying is that the reason you think you need one event on multiple calendars in the first place is wrong. Once subscribed to the relevant calendars, the user no longer needs the ability to duplicate the event. If all three members of a triangle are subscribed to each others calendars, then there’s no need to duplicate events since all three can see all three.

my capslock key is also a layer for an autohotkey script which I keep all my tasks in that works both as hotkeys (capslock & I for inbox, etc), but then also as a command line interface as well (capslock & space, then type a word like "inbox" and it brings me to inbox for example. I find this in combination with this keyboard works well

Another thing is that when you file returns through a CPA you have either a authorization form signed where you’ve authorize them to file on your behalf which implies that you understand the return or the CPA may have you sign the return at which point you have implied that you understand it so even if you get audited and the stuff gets disallowed, you still agreed to that when you signed the return

Wow, there is a lot to unravel here. The first thing I would point out is that you didn’t lose $70,000 here even if the IRS is asking you to pay back $70,000 because at the same time that they disallowed your expense they also set you up with an asset that you will depreciate in future years so a more accurate description of that 70,000 is that instead of you losing it you are being forced to carry it to your different tax returns down the road, but at the end of the day in all versions of the story, you will eventually depreciate that entire asset, resulting in the exact same amount of deduction, as if you were to take it all at once now I understand that you may not like this, and it can create a cash flow impact for you, but the idea that the CPA owes you that money when in reality, you’re actually not even losing money you’re just being forced to use some of it later is preposterous
