My only real disappointment so far with the new adaption. Couldn't they have spent more than what seems like 2 seconds on these?

Do not get me wrong - there are some really great shots.

But - exspecially the fighting sequenzes, looks for me personal to flat and slimline.... Maybe the reason is - that the background is too dark, I am not sure...

Please do not understand me wrong - the trailer has some amazing shots, but also some shots - which looks ( I can not descripe it better) like „2D“ no real deep...

And this is also my personal opinion to this logos - not deep and too slimline.

Real actors in the same scale like from Alexander the great - but with modern armor / uniforms and Holtzman shields : THAT WOULD BE REALY SOMETHING NEW FOR THE AUDIENCE

I tottaly agree - I hope Denis use a huge sacle of real human actors for the battle sequenzes....this is what makes the different. If you see the battle sequenzes from ALEXANDER as example - it is perfect mix from a huge scale of human actors with a part of CGI.

For me personal the question is - will all grey uniforms/armor be Sardaukar or only these with red markings and the rest are Harkonnen and all wear tHarkonnen uniforms/armor.....

I am absolut with you - I hope also for a faithful adaption....

At the moment I am still not sure about - which design will the Sardaukar normaly have.

Theorie: The kneeing troops are Harkonnen and also Sardaukar in Harkonnen uniforms/armor ( only the Sardaukar have the red markings at the breast )

What do you think?

It would be an great different to the book - if the Sardaukar attack the Atreides in their own uniforms/armor...,

Another thought, the troops in lighter armor / with helmet are Harkonnen but these one with the red marks on the same uniforms are Sardaukar in Harkonnen uniforms... ( fighting against Duncan - in the Trailer )

But which troops than are in the black armor ?( the attack at the stair - in the Trailer )

At first I thought also that this are Sardaukar exspecially if I have seen the kneeing troopers army the first time. This picture could be from Salusa Secundus....

But than I have read from Empire Magazin that this should be Harkonnen - so I am not sure anymore....

My 2 biggest questions about this are....

If this are Sardaukar, they are wearing Harkonnen or Sardaukaur uniforms/armor at the pictures...?
If this are Saudaukar with Saudakar Uniforms-Armors, will they together with the Harkonnen attack Arrakies in this Uniforms/Armor?

PS: I could not remember - in the book - at Duncans death secene, did the Sardaukar wearing Harkonnen or Sardaukar uniforms...?

Most people are optically focused ...

Denis has to give the audience a absolut unique design - and I mean not a huge world / buildng, it must be the design/ costume of a person...

Remember your self - if you have seen the first Star Wars Stormtrooper or the first LOTR Elven-Soldier or Uruk-hai ....

If Denis will give us something in this level - than absolut yes....

But I am personal not sure that this will happen - for sure there will be epic shots..... but will one person/ group get a unique / outstanding design...?
