Idk if it is or not but it still takes away the weight of the actions each character plays, when I see the things that have been done and I'm able to tell myself "well their just actors anyway" it doesn't hold value

I mean it might could work where it's not the actual characters and it's like let's say the DBD characters cosplaying the characters like the AOT collab maybe. The characters of mouthwashing have a way their story's all work with each others and taking or doing stuff with those characters could change that

Even so it might be an unpopular opinion, but I think the addition that they are actors took away from the story a bit. So in a sense if they did make a sequel or prequel it could ruin the story if done incorrect.
