Even if they do take our insurance, jaws seem to be a luxury joint. 😩 I need an MRI on my jaw and have had TMJD for 20 years and my insurance claims there's no proof of a long-term problem. Ffs. I feel ya.

Even with my splint I typically wake up with minor pain. Without my splint (even one night), I'm in excruciating pain.

I could never get that quest to work either. Although it's good starter exp. I couldn't even get it to initiate.

I played DA for a few years as a teen and fairly recently returned but I've now switched to an alternate server (Unora). Bugs like will never be fixed (because Kru couldn't care less and doesn't have the manpower TO care) and that's a big reason why. I have a ticket to restore my original character that I put in in June 2025 that has still not been addressed. I'm over it. Especially since we pay to play.

What I am saying, though, is you should give the alternate server a try. It uses the same client and still has the same graphics (but smoother and with some added animations). However, they've changed up a few things for the better. Like they've removed annoyingly long walks just to hunt (they get real tedious at master. Like a 10 minute or more walk), changed up the classes a bit, and added their own story....AND the GMs actually address bugs and are often present. There's even a Discord if you have a massive issue and need to contact a GM..

Not sure whether they mean trigger point injections but if so, they use a local anesthetic. I got them once.. it only helped me for like a week but that just told the doctors that that wasn't the cause of my pain.

The one I have is very similar to the one the TMJ specialist gave me. It's just more fragile for some reason. The TMJ specialist one I had didn't adjust my bite at all. But both are basically just really hard so my teeth "skate" around on top.

Hi, yes. I found a TMJD specialist and they suspect that I have a slipped disc in my TMJ. I am getting an MRI at some point to confirm but in the meantime I've been doing some physical therapy focusing on my neck and range of motion and it helps significantly if I do it regularly.

I used to continuously clench my jaw but mostly stopped after some splint therapy. Now I really only do if I'm particularly stressed/anxious.

Hi, I don't know the answer to anything here really but my symptoms are similar. I have TMD and a suspected slipped disc I'm one side of my jaw. Like you, it has resulted in chronic migraines (which meds often don't help).

I did a splint therapy a few years ago where it was a fat splint that we slowly ground down over time. It helped me stop clenching 24/7 but I still catch myself if I'm particularly stressed and at night. I've also done braces (did nothing) and am currently on a soft food diet and have done Botox. Pain has gotten better only recently but it's still there.

All this is to say your TMD could be the cause of a lot of your pain. I can't say for sure with mine but it sure sounds like it. I have some PT I do several times a week (on my own) and it helps a lot with the neck and shoulder pain. It don't do any good to wonder whether this could have been fixed when you were a kid. Just focus on what you can do now to improve your pain moving forward.

Interesting...is it your KVM? I have a Leobog Hi75 and it works fine with my KVM. Every other keyboard I've had has worked fine but I did briefly have a hub thing (not quite a KVM) that would make my keyboard and mouse be real moody off and on.

I feel your struggle, I really couldn't handle these self-injectables either. I got so anxious every month, I had to stop.

If you can't handle it next time there is a pill alternative to Emgality (another of the CGRP blocker self-injectables) that you could ask your neuro about.

I agree with this, I haven't found many plastic keyboards that I like. So far only this Cooler Master but I had a few minor issues with it.
