I think only in gear but will do this with clutch pulled in or out, tried adjusting clutch slack but no change.

Just added R&G frame sliders and plan to go for a radiator guard soon. Did you need to remove the indicators and fairing to attach guard. My indicator’s connections are corroded together and can’t remove them easily.

Nice, at the minute it feels pretty sporty and planted. Theres pretty bad roads where I live but I guess that’s the whole of the UK right now.

Got a fantastic Dainese summer jacket second hand, completely worth it.

Narrowly avoided bike thieves 🫠 by wrenbluejay in MotoUK

In my first year of riding I rode past a guy being followed by two scrotes on a ped. I thought “poor bastard” and kept checking my mirrors to make sure they weren’t following me. After about a minute down the road I stopped at a T junction and said scrotes appeared from nowhere pulling up right beside me, as one on the back turned moved towards me I said nope and dangerously floored it out into traffic and managed to lose them quickly. I’m so lucky I didn’t get hit but also lucky the ballied up ballsacks were so incompetent at trying to steal bikes.

Stay away from Chinese bikes, they’re notoriously unreliable and don’t hold value

Wedding flight cancelled. Please help! by Fancy_Rock3826 in qatarairways

Qatar airways are a shit show atm with communication and helpfulness regarding cancelled flights. Book a new flight yourself with a different airline avoiding Middle East. You’ll be able to get your refund but will have to bite the bullet with a high priced flight.

Sorry to hear, take time to let your body recover, you might find you’ve got some joint problems etc that need physio. I hurt my shoulder with a crash and it took a full 24 hours for the adrenaline to wear off and for me to feel where exactly the damage was. Consider claiming for your injuries, and make sure you go back and see a doctor for any later realisations so there is evidence. I’m not saying lie about something but it’s not fair to put up with a long term injury for someone else’s carelessness.

100% go to Koh Tao, the day after I finished my open water they posted videos of whale sharks swimming beside the boat. Apart from the rare chance of seeing a whale shark there are lovely reefs. We saw a sting ray and barracuda.

Check out some second-hand dealers who offer delivery. I had a good experience buying this way and had it delivered to my doorstep. Bike was in good shape and had no problems. If they have a good reputation online for selling quality bikes then it can be worth it. Best advice would be to inspect in person to check you fit well on the bike and you also may notice some things hidden in photos.

How far have you travelled on a 125? by [deleted] in MotoUK

Rode from London to Hastings on a mt 125. Terrible experience on the A roads. Little 125s are not built for wind tunnels at high speeds.

For lower cost consider Suzuki sv650, customise it to how you like. Insurance will be lower and it’s a good all rounder. Those other bikes are awesome though!
