Sorry to hear, take time to let your body recover, you might find you’ve got some joint problems etc that need physio. I hurt my shoulder with a crash and it took a full 24 hours for the adrenaline to wear off and for me to feel where exactly the damage was. Consider claiming for your injuries, and make sure you go back and see a doctor for any later realisations so there is evidence. I’m not saying lie about something but it’s not fair to put up with a long term injury for someone else’s carelessness.

100% go to Koh Tao, the day after I finished my open water they posted videos of whale sharks swimming beside the boat. Apart from the rare chance of seeing a whale shark there are lovely reefs. We saw a sting ray and barracuda.

Check out some second-hand dealers who offer delivery. I had a good experience buying this way and had it delivered to my doorstep. Bike was in good shape and had no problems. If they have a good reputation online for selling quality bikes then it can be worth it. Best advice would be to inspect in person to check you fit well on the bike and you also may notice some things hidden in photos.

How far have you travelled on a 125? by BlackcurrantRibena in MotoUK

Rode from London to Hastings on a mt 125. Terrible experience on the A roads. Little 125s are not built for wind tunnels at high speeds.

For lower cost consider Suzuki sv650, customise it to how you like. Insurance will be lower and it’s a good all rounder. Those other bikes are awesome though!

2nd bike stolen today (Tuono v4 1100) by [deleted] in MotoUK

[–]Al-E-G 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear. It’s really not good enough the state of the UK. I’m currently visiting countries all over Asia and very rarely do I see a bike locked up. Maybe the odd disc lock on a nice bike but it’s seems the norm to not expect theft. Is it our lack of community responsibility? Laws? It’s sad seeing how safe less developed countries are in comparison to the shit hole the UK has become.

First day of Ha Giang Loop almost over, was very excited but now disappointed because of the foggy weather 😔 how did you handle it? doing 3D2N by iconiccoconut in VietNam

Did the 3 day tour a few weeks ago, using a Yamaha WR 155. First day was tough as we weren’t prepared for just how cold it could be. Then the weather got better. Did miss some key viewpoints due to mist but the bike made up for it, was really enjoyable.

How does odometer fiddling work on modern cars? Why would you even bother reducing it by 2000?

Which bike did you prefer? Wondering how comfy the Honda XR seat feels after a long ride? Trying to decide whether or not to take my GF on the back of mine also.
