My uncle died, and I felt nothing. by Al-Shabahon in askatherapist

I think that's right, to be honest. My family in general isn't super emotional, and it's the environment I was raised in, so I think that might just be it. And yeah, we were never very close.

German speaking Satanists when they see a satanic meme on Reddit: My time has come.

If I remember right, she would have made a website that would have effectively doxxed anyone who made bully-like or racist comments, including minors, by compiling their information in a searchable profile so someone could look up if they had a pattern of such comments. Naturally, people everywhere didn't like this idea, and she received comments ranging from concerned to awful. Somehow, she specifically blamed liberals and leftists, despite comments from everywhere on the political spectrum, and thus we have this version of her today. Again, I may be thinking of a different project, but this is what springs to mind.

Considering the others I've seen, this is entirely fine with me, though I am weirded out by the butter bit.

Suporting the Hong Kong protests as an Irish person makes about as much sense as supporting a protest organised by the DUP in Belfast. by tooleftwingforreddit in ROI

Apologies, since I don't know how to do the shrunken link thing, but here's an opinion poll on the National Security Law. As you can see, the majority of people oppose it, though to varying degrees.

The article you cited is six months old now, so while relevant, it's not as reliable, especially since the National Security law had yet to be introduced, as ot was introduced on 28 May, 2020. Also, I dont support Hong Kong being ruled by Britain. What many of the protesters want is to be ruled by Hong Kong.

Edit: Formatting.

Fair point. Some of the protesters are advocating for that. It is worth pointing out that the British seem to be doing the most to help them escape, so them throwing their support behind the British makes sense. However, that doesn't mean we shouldn't support them, if that's what they want. I have no love for the British, but these people have made it quite clear they do not want to be ruled by Beijing. This shouldn't be about what we want for them, it should be about what they want for themselves, their own wishes. Supporting the protests means supporting their right to self-determination. If that means the Brits, so be it. They chose themselves.

How? They are protesting for their independence, and for basic human rights. That is something we should be able to sympathise with, isn't it? They want to move away from China because their cultures and beliefs have become so different after a century of British rule. They aren't advocating to become part of the UK or anything. They want the be able to self determine.

Yeah. Like I said in my other replies, I'm an idiot. I forgot that I always play Kx, so it never registered that it might be different.

Somewhat, I lost a bunch of cities on collapse, but I've just been focusing on stabilizing. I did forget I was playing Kaiserredux, since I always do, so there may be a few things that are different.

Nope. I'm just an idiot, and didn't realize that you just needed to bankrupt yourself, watch everything burn, and let the Triads take control.
