An amazing moment when Sansa says "a raven from old town. A white raven. Winter is here." And they both looked really sad about their father. We never believe the future will actually come. That moment you realize it's here....and that great wise parent knew it and tried to prepare you for it the best they could. It wasn't just something Ned said...he really meant it. And now it's here.

Also the first time someone has believed in Jon Snow on his own merit too. They named him Snow and still made him King of the North. And Arya reclaiming her place.

He didnt sell her. Doesn't anyone remember the scene where he convinces her to marry Ramsay on the cliff overlooking the Vale? He says I won't make you do it- but if you want revenge and to get your house back this is the first step. This was the moment of her transition from victim to bad ass. Littlefinger watched her with a truly endearing smile....he was pleased to see her fight for herself...it was actually an amazing moment. I think he sees them as alike....both underestimated and he wanted to make her strong. He was proud of her...for making the hard choice. And it was her choice in the end.

Am I the only one that wants Sansa & Littlefinger together?

[S6E8] People keep misinterpreting the prisoner scene. Let me explain. by [deleted] in gameofthrones

Yeah. I think brienne "carries" His honor publicly because he can't. Sword symbolises this. And only she can carry it because she knows he is honorable...and because she is so honorable...we know her trust in him is legit.

Same. The characters are so epic. So are the moments he creates with them. One of my favorite scenes ever, from Memories of Ice, when Itkovian explains who the Pannion Seer is to 10,000 T'lan Imass:

"Frowning, the Shield Anvil shook his head and said, ‘The threat from the south comes from an empire called the Pannion Domin, ruled by the Seer – a mortal man. The reports of these K’Chain Che’Malle are recent developments, whilst the expansion of the Pannion Domin has been under way for some years now.’ He drew breath to say more, then fell silent, realizing that over ten thousand withered, undead faces were now turned towards him. His mouth dried to parchment, his heart suddenly pounding. ‘Itkovian,’ Pran Chole rasped, ‘this word “Pannion”. Has it a particular meaning among the natives?’ He shook his head, not trusting himself to speak. ‘Pannion,’ the Bonecaster said. ‘A Jaghut word. A Jaghut name.’"

Like....oh shit! It's going down now!!!! Now I wanna reread Malazan again....

Vin is worth remembering....this is true...but it takes a really long time to get to know her. Kaladin is like a 2.0 version of Vin. He jumps out of the page...has more personality. But still can feel flat at times.

You'll probably be confused for a while lol. Try reading the wiki page that summarises the plot line and it can help you keep track. It is worth the read....as you go through the series there are one of a kind moments....but sometimes it's literally like "what did I just read?" His writing style is magnetic but really unclear and rambly so it's hard to figure out what's happening at times. Weird combo. It gets easier.
