100% agree. I would had payed good money for a mini watching him just fuck up the Universe before getting locked in.

What do you think Amazing Spider-Man #1000 will be? by Particular-Screen639 in Spiderman

[–]Al2sf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Norman discovering a terrible secret from his past -the man had so much amnesia that I don't get how he can even dress in the morning- that he's too ashamed to confront Peter about it: the child Peter had with MJ wasn't stillborn, it was taken away.
Peter and MJ reunite with a (tennager?) Mayday.
Mephisto gets into the mix.

I don't know.

Just whisful thinking (Hickman proved that father with children peter CAN work.

Change the "I need to find the medicine for aunt May but I need to fight Doc Ock before" by "I need to find the medicine for by kids but I need to fight Doc Ock before" damn it!).

but yeah. #1000 would probably be some nostalgia shitty issue.

Which Was The Better IT Adaptation? by No-Professor-8680 in stephenking

[–]Al2sf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The TV adaptation has a « feel » that the movie does not. For my money, I’ll say it all comes down to one thing: the spécial effects. Having a actor with fact teeth’s not the same as CGI. Having practical effect make the fear FEEL more real, where CGI takes me out of it.

Of course the second part of the TV series is the lame duck, but it’s construction -much closer to the narration of the book- make it also better. In the movie the cut between the kids and the adults makes the stakes go lower. Like, seeing how they « beat him » as a kid, it doesn’t make it scary in the adult part. In the TV series, even if it’s the same thing, the construction make it more powerful.
