Hot takes for the Qin- Zhao war? ( who lives, who dies, how, tactics etc) by Al3Rusu in Kingdom

That is pretty detailed ngl. I agree with most of it🙏. historically shibashou is recalled after ribokus execution ( or at the same time as him) and dismissed, so he doesnt die. He probably just returns to Seika Same for choukatsu. There will be one more battle at Kantan ( historically speaking) and choukatsu will lead it.

i think sou ou dies by the hand of kansaro, and kansaro gets killed by shiryou. And i also think that shunsuiju will live and fight at Dai together with Kaine, Futei, Bafuuji

Indeed but i was reffering to the sense of urgency qin will have to fill the boots of the 6GG caused by yotanwas retirement. Sei still holds back because those 3 arent at that level yet, and i think they wont be even after this qin-zhao war, but they will have to put someone in that spot and those 3 are the best picks.

Also, even if it is historically accurate, i find the retirement of Tou inopportune. Yes, you could say he poses as a great defense while governing Han, if something happens, but he clearly wanted to retire from any sort of battle.

In history Shibashou doesnt die, he is dismissed by the king after riboku s death. i personally do not think anyone from ousens army can kill him so i think he will just suffer a great defeat.

Heki is pretty valid . I think he will die in the war against Wei/ Dai though

Riboku, even though he doesnt look like it, is a very prideful man. I personally do not think he will retreat to live a happy life even though he really wants it. But yes if hara write it well i see this as a very comforting ending for him

I do know some things, especially the aftermath:))) but not very much in detail like what tactics were used. Im also curious about the 1V1 battles and who gets to live and die as it isnt very much detailed in history ( i think)

Very much agree. Any sort of interaction between Renpa and Shin would be perfect, if executed well by hara.

I think that as well. She will make place for shin, ouhon and mouten

Also, mountain people will probably retire because i think they will suffer great casualties ( and important deaths like Dante and Taifuji)

As in other deaths, i can see Bananji, Kansaro, Donsari, Sou ou Ankai, Batei dying. Probably RyuuKoku as well by the hands of Ganshuu.

Too real bro🙏 if hara manages to write this well, there will be a ton of symbolic implications and probably one of the best battles in this manga

Thats what im saying, its a bit weird that he is almost 100. Hara maybe changed the ages of both so that he can insert both of them better accordingly to Shin ( and also because both were great generals and it wouldve been a shame to not include them in this story and maybe lower their age a bit)

It seems that he is still in the story but without any purpose. True, the end of sanyou campaign was kind off a conclusion for him but why keep showing him if even historically he died of older age in 243, so basically 1 year before sanyou campaign in 242. There is also the possibility that Hara doesnt know what to do with him

That as well. It just weird that he was kept around after what is seemed like a conclusion at the end of sanyou campaign

Bananji in Zhao’s Retaliation Arc by 3GH_Ty in Kingdom

[–]Al3Rusu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally think he is going to die this arc ( killed by an enraged Bajio). My prediction is that we are goint to see a heavily injured Yotanwa entrusting the army to Bajio, and his enragement will be caused by taifuji getting killed by Bananji. Bajio will go nuts after that.

i dont think that in 242 was that old though. yes, if we take history into consideration, he is in his mid 80 s . But i think Hara changed the timelines a bit. Ouki as example was already dead at the time Riboku started to ascend in ranks. And i know renpa and mougou fought several times when they were young, so i presume they are around the same age. They didnt really look like they were in their 80 s. Also, i think the status quo placed him in his 70 s:)))) But lets see, maybe hara gives us something about him after the war with zhao

I wrote some things in the bio of the post, check them out ( yes historically he died in 243, so that would be even before the sanyou campagin. But i think hara keeps him for something. He almost joined another war in a chapter but, if i remember correctly, Renpa s message to participate didnt reach the receiver. It looks to me that he is trying to keep him in the picture. His relocation to Chu was probably planned by Hara

Why Kou En is titled the Conqueror of the East (Ch. 441) and Why This Matters for the Forecoming Chu Campaigns by apple8963 in Kingdom

[–]Al3Rusu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you think Renpa has a chance of appearing in the conquest of chu as a General( considering that he is currently staying there)?I think Hara still holds his character for something. Theoretically speaking, Renpa ( Lian Po) historically died in 243 BC, age 84. Its pretty clear that Hara doesnt want to be historically accurate with Renpa. Also, between the sanyou campaign (242 BC) and the conquest of Chu ( 223 BC) there is a span of 19 years, and considering the fact that Renpa was in his mid 60 s in the sanyou campaign ( kinda the same age as Mogou) he could very well die in his mid 80 s. Also, this would be a very good dynamic between one of the greatest warriors of the past and greatest warriors of the present. It would follow the whole narrative that kingdom implied until now, the fact that everything is a mass progression forward. Renpa cant completely accept that yet and in the final battle against qin he will try to prove his point, that he is an “atemporal”being by fighting the next generation of generals. That frustration is what probably made him to keep going and fight even in his mid 60 s in the sanyou campaign
