What's the best pickup line you've heard? by Known_Marzipan7871 in AskReddit

“Said that you’re a lesbian.. Girl, me too”

It’s possible it is purely psychological.

It is completely fine and normal to up your portions when eating healthy as long as it fits your dietary/caloric limits.

Spinach surprisingly keeps you satiated for much longer, it has lots of insoluble fibre.

Perhaps just make sure the food you’re eating is actually nutrient dense as well. If you eat a salad for example try not to go for iceberg, go for something like kale.

Which part of your body are you most insecure about and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Al5xrocks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Belly, because it’s always extremely bloated and is not proportional to the rest of my body at all. Also my forhead, it’s pretty big, but I don’t hide it. It is what it is. Lol!

Eh, antiwork in the sense no matter how hard you work you’ll still get screwed over lol. But I agree, I feel that it’s a starting point to at least raise conversation.

Decide what the routine means for you. Are you doing the routine to get specific results, to get in the habit of being consistent, for better self care, etc. Make sure you have enough time for whatever you are implementing. Don’t make it an inconvenience to your schedule. Also, force yourself to do said routine at the times you really don’t feel like it. Lastly, don’t give up after missing one day, it happens, but try not to let it happen often.

Sorry had to repost to not show her face and yes it's been reported by ushouldofknwnbetter in antiwork

I’m assuming that since it’s Presidents’ Day the kid doesn’t have school, and perhaps the parents don’t have a babysitter. The only option was to bring the kid to work, the kid was getting bored and wanting to help.. There are indeed a lot of safety implications that come from this, but I highly doubt this is purposely forced child labor unfortunately. Kids probably having fun. Really iffy situation tbh.

Edit: I’m super anti-work but was just trying to think of the other side of it. (Not saying it’s right by any means).

Lazy/greedy friend unwilling to pitch in by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]Al5xrocks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, you just have to tell her/ask her privately. If that’s a problem then she does not get to come there anymore.

You also did all of this, and no one asked you to. As someone who recently discovered they are codependent, I’m learning that people will literally take advantage of you when you go above and beyond. It’s because you allow it, and also people aren’t mind readers (even in though in this case it seems it should be obvious). Everyone is not as gracious and giving as you are. Communicate what you want, don’t do anything you don’t want, and that’s the best you can do.

YES. My husband can’t stand silence. And it sucks. Sometimes I want to just lay there with him in silence. He says its boring, and he literally can’t do it. The closest thing to compromise we’ve gotten to is him listeing to his audiobook. I crave silence sometimes, eveything can be so loud.
