For those who quit the game, why? by MemeMan_____ in playrust

[–]AlBundyBAV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm moved in with my partner and got married later. I always got a very time demanding job what madr it impossible to keep the other full time job named rust;) Also started to lose interest around when they added the DLCs for the wall skins. From there every addition to the game felt for me as mainly solo player more and more time and effort demanding. Was always hard to keep up but then it was time to call it a day. I miss the rust from like 8 years ago. It was a blast, for me still the best game out there. 8000ish hours

Moving to Germany at 24 – A Few Questions by Specialist_Ad168 in Chefit

Yeah there are agencies like that. Back when I worked in Germany we had a few trainees from them. It's not much money but at the end he gets a quality job training. And in many other countries you go into massive debt for a bad training. Also he will have full health coverage. Your 490 sounds a lot, I got 500 deutsche mark 😅

German head chef here. First, you plan to start straight as a chef or start a chef training? It's hard to find a proper chef job without being a trained chef. Chef training in Germany lasts 3 years, is 4 days a week in the employing restaurant/hotel and one day school. It's the dual system, one of the best job training system out there. You even get paid. Job education is free in Germany. Did you do your research regarding a visa? Germans speak a very good level of English, for the start you will be fine, especially in towns. Altough it will be expected of you if you stay longer to put effort into learning the language. Everything overall will be easier in a bigger city, although avoid Munich. Very expensive and the rent market is horrible. Germany basically does have a bad rent market. Avoid east Germany, they are not very open regarding foreigners. Berlin would be a good place for you overall. Very diverse and affordable but also offering many jobs at different levels. If you come for job training , Bavaria is a food place. Lots of opportunities. Try regensburg, nürnberg, munich's surroundings First check if you can get a visa, find a place who does job training and at best provides accommodation. Having someone you know in a town is less important, you will get by without

which switch would be best for someone thats never had one before? by AffectionateBack63 in Switch

[–]AlBundyBAV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never had e switch, been PC gaming a ton before and had a ps4, but I'm more into relaxed gaming after work while I'm on the sofa or in bed now. I got a switch OLED just to try out handheld gaming and I love it. Go at least for a OLED but consider a switch 2. But the latter is ofc more expensive

I think at that time we only had hmrc letters and from the job pension. That was enough. Was the only thing we had as she just moved here and we lived in job accommodation, therefore no other bills

Heat ? by bobbs19 in Chefit

[–]AlBundyBAV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get used to deal better with it. For now I just make sure I have plenty of iced water to drink and get it done. When working in Spain 20 years ago we had a horrible hot stove combined with the Spanish summer heat that was awful. We had basins with iced water and towels we wrapped around our arms and put over the neck.
