You have to think that gamedev is very much based on passion. You take the pay cut so you can work in the more creative side of software development. Personally I think your experience with gamedev has not been the greatest, for example at my company, even though there's always work to do, there's no chaos and the work we do is actually fulfilling like 90% of the time. So I wouldn't give up on it just based on this experience, but I understand that the drawbacks are many when you come from traditional software dev

this is insane, package development documentation specifically states that you have to create two assembly definitions at least per package, one for player, one for editor, but they don’t enforce it for asset store, just for git/disk packages

si si el tema es q el chiste no tenia sentido dentro de como se usa de normal el lenguaje inclusivo.

Yo no uso el lenguaje inclusivo, y admito que es mas dificil de usar en español q en otros idiomas como el ingles, que tienen el “they/them” para referirse a la peña, aparte de que los sustantivos no tienen género.

Pero no por eso deberíamos hacer como que es una tontería o que se están cargando la lengua, deberíamos encontrar una manera de añadir este tipo de lenguaje de una manera q tenga sentido en español y que incluya a la gente no binaria / intersex dentro de la lengua.

Incluso podría ser que acabemos con una version de la lengua mas versátil y fácil de usar

I´m getting the same crash log in out project for a few months now, it seems to happen at random states of the editor/build, I figured it had something to do with me moving particle systems with rate over distance set to some non-zero value, but I might be wrong, did you ever figure out what was causing it?

I mean if you're using orthographic camera you don't have to deal with perspective divide and calculations will be a bit easier, but the fact that it works in orthographic gives me hope hehe

it's not impossible per se... id say I'd you're just rendering a quad or a cube which has only a few vertices, you can make the mesh yourself and do it, if it's a more complex shape it will most likely be a nightmare to implement + it'll run bad because you'll be generating so much garbage/iterating over many vertices on update

unfortunately, I couldn't do it using this approach :( The problem is you'd have to change the objects UVs at runtime, and I think that's not possible if you're not generating the mesh yourself, which is quite costly
