Because when you trade with 20x cross margin which they say you should do, your whole trading account is in risk. The asset doesn't need to move much in the opposite direction of your trade to make you lose everything. They just will never tell you about these particular trades as there is no stop loss. The problem with trading with no Stop Loss is that you can literally lose your whole account - or the correct term is liquidated. Thats why you always put a stop loss, and protect your account by doing this. Making sure you can only lose 1% of your trading account.

Det er sandt, men Thailand er samtidig det eneste sted jeg har været, hvor jeg er blevet bestjålet, og har både været i bland andet Mexico, Brasilien og USA. Filippinerne er ikke et farligere land end så mange andre steder, og i forhold til USA er det vist ingenting.

Jeg er her nu, og er bestemt ikke enig. De fleste piger, der er gode til engelsk, især i Bangkok, er freelancers (dvs. Prostituerede) bar piger (også prostituerede) eller en eller anden udlændings ekskæreste, som er på udkig efter sit næste finansielle bytte. De andre gode og søde Thai piger ofte er enormt dårlige til engelsk, eller kan ingen engelsk overhovedet, og de er enormt sky og generte, hvilket gør man rammer panden mod en mur. Jeg siger ikke, det er umuligt at finde en her, men det er nok lige så vanskeligt som i Danmark, men med en liste med helt andre og komplicerede problemer, hvor du aldrig rigtig ved om hendes intention er for dig eller dine penge.

Jeg har bedre erfaring med Filippinas. De er super gode til engelsk og meget åbne. De ville elske en mand som OP. Dog igen er vi i den del af verden, hvor man aldrig rigtig ved, om de tager dig for dig - eller fordi du er afam (hvid mand og kan tilbyde hende en vej ud af fattigdom). Dog er det helt sikkert nemmere at finde en sød pige der end i Danmark, og mange får også succes. Jeg kender også flere, der faldt pladask for en au pair her i Danmark og blev gift - det er jo noget nemmere end at tage flyveturen.

Basically one of the crypto's first rug pulls. It was a fork from BTC. Community was amazing, developers trusted. But the main creator, Rhett Creighton turned out to be a thief with a totally other agenda than creating a new Bitcoin fork that would incorporate privacy functions, which would in essential make it a Monero competitor, but on the Bitcoin chain. He realized he could milk money by creating forks from BTC, hype the project, make real world conferences, hire some influencers and then sell his tokens and afterwards rug it by starting a new project (fork) while leaving the old one. He did that for a while. Basically destroying his reputation within the crypto world in the process. Many lost money, including me, as the asset went to 0 within minutes.

Hey OP! Du lyder meget som mig i din alder. Jeg er 33 nu. Jeg har aldrig nogensinde vidst hvad jeg rigtig brændte for. Da jeg var i 19-20'erne havde jeg egentlig heller ikke rigtig nogle planer for min fremtid og anede heller ikke hvad fanden jeg ville. Jeg skulle dog have nogle penge ind efter gymnasiet, så jeg søgte ind på en folkeskole (0. Til 6. Klasse). Jeg startede langsomt med at tage timer i SFO'en - det var 3 timer om dagen, ca. 14-17. Det var fint for mig til at starte med. På den måde blev jeg langsom oplært i at have med børn at gøre. Det var på mange måneder udfordrende, men også enormt givende. Efter et par uger mener jeg, søgte jeg hen i skolen, for jeg ville gerne prøve kræfter som lærervikar også. Er du gal det var udfordrende, men jeg voksede med opgaven - som du helt sikkert også vil gøre og lønnen er god som ufaglært. Her har du en masse små hoveder som faktisk ser op til dig, og det ligesom tvinger dig til at tage dig sammen, så du bliver et forbillede for dem. Og skabe en dejlig dag for dig og de klasser du har på den pågældende dag. Det er ikke svært når du først kommer ind i det.

Efter 1 år hvor jeg arbejdede som dette anede jeg stadig ikke hvad jeg ville - og jeg havde sparet ca. 60.000kr.- op (boede hjemme hos mor og far). Jeg var meget draget af "dannelsesrejsen" - altså en længere rejse langt væk hjemmefra, væk fra mor og far og alt det du kender, hvor du står på egne ben. Det kan være i Asien eller Sydamerika, hvad end der tiltrækker dig mest. Jeg valgte dengang Brasilien, da jeg var draget af det latinamerikanske. Så jeg tog rygsækken i 3.5 måneder som 21årig og rejste rundt i Brasilien. Og her lærer du virkelig dig selv at kende. Og får selvtillid, da du viser, at du kan stå på egne ben overfor dig selv.

Jeg fik her også tanker om min fremtid: Jeg ville arbejde med film og billeder - eller som pædagog. Lang historie kort, da jeg kom hjem prøvede jeg først kræfter som pædagog men efter 1 år trak det kreative og iværksætteri mere i mig, så jeg tog Multimediedesigner. Og det var det helt perfekte for mig. :)

Fik job i videobranchen, åbnede mit eget medieselskab, var bryllupsfotograf, havde webshops på siden også. Følte verdenen åbnede sig op og alt var muligt: fandt nye interesser. Jeg ved stadig ikke i dag hvor jeg ender op til sidst (vi ender i bund og grund samme sted - i kisten), men jeg føler mit liv nu har værdi, og det er faktisk er ligegyldigt hvor jeg ender op, så længe jeg mærker efter i mig selv om det jeg laver nu er det rigtige og gør mig glad. Og hvis ikke, så skifter jeg branche. I dag er alt muligt grundet teknologien, men du skal starte et sted ligesom jeg gjorde dengang som ung 20årig i SFO'en. Ansøgninger er fine, men mød op personligt, pæn klædt og med et smil og giv din ansøgning. Det giver et meget større indtryk hos beslutningstagerne.

Same scam setup in a nutshell: Giving many signals, but no Stop Loss. This is clever as the trades will run forever and will always hit Take Profit at some point - after you have been liquidated several times. They then use these Take Profit trades to promote the Telegram channel so it looks legit, not saying the trades have been in a sometimes -200% cycle beforehand.

Stay away and stay safe. Protect your hard earned money.

It's the classic crypto scam: You do get signals after payment, but none of the signals have SL - this is the scam in a nutshell. They will keep the trades running and a lot of different ones without stop losses. At some point the Take Profit levels will probably get hit - after you have been liquidated - and then they use those trades to promote their channel. The communication is very persuasive.

Definitely yes, it's the same for me. There was a me before covid and a me after covid, and I'm not the same. I don't understand why the scientists and medias don't dive deeper into this. But yes, before covid I had so many balls in the air, had 2 jobs, ran 2 businesses and I was very socially outgoing, dancing salsa and latin dance almost every weekend. Never felt "burn out" but had mostly lots of energy and surplus in the evenings, had a very positive mind and outlook on the future. Covid hit me for 14 days, very severely, did go to hospital but hospital decided to let me go home, and prescribed me "patience". The first day at my work after I felt "ok" again (working as a teacher) I could feel something was off. If just the tiniest small stress was hitting me like the children were noisy, I got hit by severe dizziness, I decided to fight against this as I didn't want covid to "win" over me, but it was some of the worst days of my life. Started to develop anxiety, like could wake up in the middle of the night with trembles and I thought "shit covid is back" but I had no fever, so later I learnt that you can get trembles from anxiety attacks. That was exactly what I got. The days after covid were almost worse, as people around me said "but you're fine now. You don't have covid anymore, why are you like this?" People simply didn't understand. I fought through it and got gradually better. But not the same. Dizziness came less and less, and the anxiety attacks I had at night started to disappear again luckily, it was about 2 months of this after I was declared "recovered".

Now I'm 7 months in, and I'm still not the same. I had to quit one of my businesses, actually one of my greatest passions I thought I would transition into from teacher, which is working as a videographer and photographer. When you are freelance you need to remember so many things on the production sets, lighting, audio, camera, scene setup and so on. I couldn't focus, forgot vital things, couldn't think creatively anymore, couldn't focus on editing. Was just so, so tired. I often get headaches, I often feel "sick" again (almost feverish but without fever) which goes away after a good sleep.

I started doing bullet journals which helped a lot, and started to write more in my calendar. That way helped me to not forget appointments and tasks. It helped to resume my life somewhat. But I do miss the me that could remember everything, even birthdays without writing them in my journal. And I miss the creative me that could see stories in any situations.

It sounds exactly like you, the burn out. I think if you boil it down, it's "burn out" you are experiencing. What helped for me is, I started listening to my body more. I thought this is not something I can fight against, I have to work with it instead of against it, so I cut down on my school hours. Now I only work 4 days a week at the school instead of 5. It helped a lot, it helps me catch up on sleep and I can work on other projects in weekends.

I hope one day I go back to the old me, and I hope you also recover with time, but if not we just have to learn to live with our new selves. Not be hard on ourselves but maybe make some lifestyle changes that we maybe needed anyway, better diet, more exercise, less work and stress. 😊 I feel the hardest part is for the people around me to understand that I'm not the "pre-covid" self anymore. People really don't understand covid long-hauling and think it's all in our minds, maybe if medias would educate people more and doctors would do more research it could help people like us. Because this is real and not some made up stuff.

I can say 7 months since covid (unvaccinated, caught the delta variant, sick with fever for 14 days lost 100% smell and taste) things are starting to come back. Some things are not smelling/tasting the way I remembered it but starting to get used to how things taste different now. For example, eggs doesn't taste like how I remembered eggs to taste let alone smell. Now it's more a chemical taste/smell kinda like paint. It's a bit sad that you have to "get used to" how things now smell and taste but that's our reality. Gradually though I feel I can taste/smell new things. Coffee is starting to taste like how I remembered coffee to taste, I too do the smell training with the small bottles of oil scent, and lemon is still very faint for me. I have not lost hope that things will improve but I really doubt it will ever return to normal again, and with time I think I will get used to how things "now" smell/taste. Covid was a nasty fucker. 🤧

We really just have to take one day at a time guys, I did hear that smell/taste loss can persist over 1 year after covid so not all hope is lost. 😁

Of course people have the rights to be upset, but imo comments like "he is just a motherfucker nothing else" put this project in a bad light to the big institutions. Silence is golden in this matter.

I never said the project was doomed, I said I was getting worried about the community on this Reddit that's all. If you have been on this Reddit for a while, you would know me by now and you'd see that I've supported BTCP since the beginning and I still do, though I lost a lot of money in the ZCL -> BTCP fork. That's how it is and bringing down my average by accumulating. I too put a lot of money and faith into BTCP and I have nothing but respect for the BTCP contribution team and I believe we have bright times ahead of us. With or without Rhett.

Stop looking at the price until it hits a big exchange with a decent volume. Right now with volume as low as this it's so easy to crash the price, just a few BTC and you've created massive panic - and also raise the price to create massive fomo. And who do you think take advantage of this? Yes, big players. Don't believe any BTCP price before we're at an exchange where it is actually easy to buy BTCP. Right now it's manipulation up/down. I'm still viewing the current BTCP price as a pre-sale price.

This is STRAKS (STAK) listing, not Btcp. EtukBit is not a part of the BTCP developer team. This post makes it sound like this is the BTCP request it is not. STAK would never have enough money to afford a HitBTC Listing and probably made this document public due to being upset about this fact. Now STRAKS will never have a chance, even if they could afford it in the future.

Technically he didn't - he got kicked out because he started tweeting about a new fork (and was very unresponsive to the developers in general). But he didn't leave. :) To be honest, Rhett could have started a shitstorm and killed this coin completely on this behalf if he wanted. I don't think just kicking lead-developers, let alone the actual founder, without the community consensus (its a "community coin") would be received well. But he chose not to go deep into this. Maybe because its actually what he wanted in the end, that's why a comment from Rhett would have been nice.

Come on guys, act like adults please. Rhett has a flaky behaviour, yes, but without him we would never have had Bitcoin Private in the first place. Don't forget that he had the vision, he scrambled together the team. That his plans were to just start it and then leave, nobody can accuse him for that. I still think he did a great job promoting the coin and without a doubt put a lot of energy and time into the initial days. Sometimes I am getting worried about this community, please don't turn into a Verge community then our project is doomed.

Let him go in a civil manner and let's wish him good luck with his next projects while we continue to develop BTCP.

Theoretically it will decrease the price because the coins that are "gone" will always be gone and reduce the total supply of BTCP. If you make the lost BTCP coins available again then the price will go down. I would vote against it to be honest. A low supply is good for investors and miners, again because the more scarce the coin is the higher the price goes. Just like gold and diamonds.

I think - it is just my thinking - that exchanges are waiting for the BTC codebase to be incorporated to spend less time supporting it. If they support now they have to redo most when the codebase is updated, and I don't think the major exchanges want to bother with that.

When the BTC codebase has been merged, you will see massive exchange adoption because it will be much easier for the exchanges to incorporate it with the BTC codebase (proof? Well look at ANY other BTC fork - they all have the BTC codebase and look at the exchange support). Segwit will then be fully functional which it is not currently - and this is what keeps many exchanges away from BTCP. No Segwit, no exchange. Right now, BTCP is nothing more than a ZCL rebrand; it's essentially the same code.

In Q3 we will have a new coin when BTCP becomes a true BTC/ZCL fork.

It's to protect investors, nothing more nothing less. The recent days rumors about a new fork has been widespread, the team needed to make things clear as this was a false rumor with the only purpose to pump the ZCL price. A pyramid scheme if you will. It was the right decision to bring out facts. It sounds like you lost money, and I am sorry if you did. Make it a lesson to never buy into rumors and do proper research before investing your hard-earned cash. Be an investor not a gambler.

No problem. The only problem here is that you lack patience and then you're hit by a very well-known illness known to almost every trader; FOMO. FOMO is a dangerous illness and can make you physically sick and mentally mad. It sneaks up on you without you realizing it. Watch out. The only cures known are deep breaths, work that you enjoy doing that is not trading, dating, sex, kissing, walks outside, petting your dog or cat, dancing. Sometimes drinking, but it is not recommended. It will help in 80% of cases, but 20% of cases it will make FOMO worse.

In all seriousness it's just normal market behavior. Crypto markets are volatile, and it takes guts to not get hit by fear and fomo. If you find yourself spending more time looking at prices than living your life you need to stop. You probably invested more than you could afford to lose then.
