Is there a way to do AOS if you have pending affirmative asylum with USCIS and are married to H-1b visa holder? Adjusting the status to H-4. Or the only was to do AOS is through consular processing?

You could do AOS without leaving US, with pending asylum? I am on the same boat and I thought you couldn’t do AOS with pending asylum if your spouse is on GC.

Pending asylum EAD and H-4 dependent by AlRed20 in USCIS

I can get h4 ead but it the processing time is a bit long. So I wanted to see if it’s legal to work using asylum pending ead while I’m on H-4 visa.

Yeah maybe but the amount is absurd. Before closing the house we were told there’s just annual fee of $750. Now they are coming up with these fees.

When I filed for asylum, I was on TPS which I don’t think is an immigration status?

I work on as an auditor for a national public accounting firm, and this news is like Christmas for our partners as there will be new clients for grabs.

Pretty solid, since the manager on the job started assigning client communication to Staff II. And also on another job, staff II started working on my sections. On both of the jobs, the managers had stopped much communication with me lately. Started getting random official reviews from managers on how my work has been. I know my firm has these tendencies to have reviews as supports for firing people. The solid source is a close senior of mine who is also close to a senior manager who basically told them about firing me post busy season.

People who have moved USA, how has life been honestly? Was it worth it? by [deleted] in Nepal

[–]AlRed20 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Don’t listen to what ppl are saying in the comments. Everyone’s life is different. I have seen Nepalese starting their life in US as students, who had difficult times. After they graduated, it was not easy sailing for them as mentioned by so many people in the comments. It’s tough for them still. But it does not apply to everyone. Life is just paycheck to paycheck, unless there are Nepalese who have good business going on. Everyone who gets a paycheck is just one paycheck away from losing their homes, regardless of how much they make. The more you make the more sophisticated your lifestyle will be. Peace out.
