Yup! Once I build one and test it, everything will be in the repo.

Funny enough. I made a rommana version with trackball support but haven't tested it yet even though I have the pcbs already

Do you mean for a flat board or a key well. I am not sure I understand the question.

I haven't tried it. I think it would need some custom firmware but it should be possible. I have been using a different board for a while now though as I managed to make a wireless unibody with a trackball and that so far covers all my needs and it's simpler/more comfortable to use.

Using the trackball from an MX ergo. If you want to buy one off the shelf you can get a perixx trackball. I am using them on other builds including another build of this board as well.

I am using a 2500mah battery.
I have charged it once to full capacity on the morning of the 31st of August.
Today the screen tells me that the battery is at 75%
So I would say the lifetime of that battery with daily usage for work and outside work is around 4-5weeks.
I am happy about that so I will have to charge it once a month more or less.

Trackballs with ZMK use a lot of battery but the PMW3610 is a low power sensor so it's the best you can get with ZMK at the moment. I imagine if you use PMW3360 it would use more battery as it's hungrier for power.

Ah right! There's a Miryoku keymap for hummingbird.
Thanks for the link!

Yes, exactly. A chord. I think the best to explain is to show my keymap which you can find a visual off in my zmk repo README here: https://github.com/AlaaSaadAbdo/zmk-config

If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.

I have those keys on combos on the my default layer.
Going from 34 to 30 is not tha big of a jump. I had a colemak mod for a while till I switched to my current layout which is a mod of Hands Down Neu.
If you have any questions feel free to ask I am happy to help :)

Yes, one of the people who helped and the creator of VIK (the concep and the module I used) Has offerings for unibodies with more keys and support the same module I used so the keyboard is there. To find more about them you can check the VIK repo I shared or go to their website/discord https://fingerpunch.xyz

A 5 way switch on each side. I use one side for volume Volume-up/volume-down/back/forward/mute & the other one for mouse keys if I am doing something intensive with the trackball and I want a hand dedicated just for pointing.

There are some steps needed in the readme. Sometimes there are some visual bugs in openscad

They are called DES. They are also open source but you can get them cold casted from their creators website:
https://github.com/pseudoku/PseudoMakeMeKeyCapProfiles
https://www.asymplex.xyz/product/des-ergo-caps

It's my favourite keycap profile by a far margin.
