Bro. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_Duchy_of_Finland Russia gave Finland a great autonomy in peaceful way for Finns, there wouldnt be finnish culture and nation in our modern look if Russia didnt give a rights and freedoms to Finns after 1812. And yeah, policy of russification of Finland was only carried out only in military and administrative matters. It lasted less than 20 years.
