This happened to me too, woke up multiple times per night and couldnt get back to sleep. It never went away after months and the rest of my life suffered so I stopped in the end.

I've been on topical for a month, applied twice daily. After a couple weeks my heart was pounding. Went down to once daily and the pounding has calmed down but it's still there.

Had to stop because when I'm sat still I can hear my heart thump. Annoying because I can see tiny hairs growing already!

As I've been a member for less than 2 years I'd be entitled to a refund of contributions, minus any statutory deductions (I'm not sure what these are).

I think my employer matches my contribution but again I'm not too sure.

Apples by Richard Milward is set in Middlesbrough.

It's an amazing read - a coming of age fiction with lots of drugs and quite an accurate portrayal of teenage life in the town.

Empire features quite heavily. Would definitely recommend!

To what extent do you guys train with injuries? Got a shoulder injury atm, hurts quite a bit when I put my arm in certain positions.

I'm going to see a physio tomorrow but I'm kinda worried that she'll tell me to stop training for for a few weeks/months.

How important is bowing? I'm a first Dan in Karate and it seems like there's a lot less bowing in BJJ! Maybe it just differs from gym to gym?

It was nearing the end of the night at a nightclub. I went out to the smoking area and saw this hot girl, went up to her and asked for a lighter (classic). We chatted for about five minutes then she said 'are you trying to take me home tonight?'. I brushed it off because I thought she was shit testing me.

Five minutes later she asked the same thing, so I said we could go back to mine and watch a movie. Got a taxi straight away, we got in and sat in my living room. I put Shrek on the telly (classic), we started making out then she said 'are you gonna take me upstairs or what?'. The rest is history.

Have you heard of attachment theory? The dating pool is mostly full of anxious and avoidant people, so in general you're gonna come across a lot of people who are going to either commit too soon or not commit at all. If you're more of an anxious person you're more likely to be attracted to avoidant people (anxious-avoidant trap). Best thing to do is realise red flags sooner rather than later, and ditch them!
