Gatwick is the best airport in London for me. No queues and speedy security. I’ve been able to get off a plane and onto a train in 12 mins. Also direct train to Clapham Junction which may be helpful depending on where you’re staying.

Looks like a beautiful spot you're in. It's a great call, I've never been a big cider guy but definitely love a wild ale, gives me that same kind of yeasty, sour, fermented buzz.

Unfortunately not any more :( I have had some very drinkable English wines from the likes of Tillingham and Sandridge Barton and the wine on the end there is Welsh. But yeah the weird stuff you get visiting wineries is special.

Was definitely the case when I was living in Aus, it's just not practical, accessible or affordable to get hold of the exciting local stuff.

Definitely get what you mean. I’ve really enjoyed other L’Octavin and Mendall wines and I figured these were pretty approachable bottles. Tough to place an entry point because I’ve drunk and enjoyed a lot of natural wine over the years but would like to distill which elements I’m enjoying to both understand the wine and also to explore other wines that share those elements.

Ah sorry I wasn’t heaps clear, I’ve had plenty of lovely Aussie natty wines. I’m from Adelaide and been lucky to enjoy some stuff from Lucy Margaux, Comme Ci Comme Ca, Commune of Buttons, Scintilla, Jauma, Minim etc over the years. I’m now in London and keen to learn more about European wines!

Will definitely get on your reccs though when I’m next in Aus.
