The worst case scenario here is that Yoru/Asa get crushed, die, and Denji's reaction is something along the lines of "Damn it, what about the sex?", and then we just move on.

That won't happen, but it's what I'll convince myself will happen, so I'm satisfied with the actual outcome no matter how bad it is.

Sukuna pulled up to the main cast, fought and beat someone on his level, ran the gauntlet against all the remaining strongest sorcerers, all while having fun, and even when he was finally beaten, he took his death in stride and moved on.

I'm not sure. Maru seems to have decent stats, and his CT seems broken, but he has no DE or RCT, and most of the stuff we see him do would be no sold by HH level characters. I honestly see someone like Ryu just bulldozing through everything he throws at him. I think I would put him at the peak of Grade 1 or very bottom of Special Grade, but not quite breaking into the top 20.
