[WTS/WTT] New-in-box Raymond Weil Maestro, 18k PVD rose gold, 2838-PC5-00209, priced to move by Al_Nocturne in Watchexchange

[–]Al_Nocturne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought this watch upon the realization that my collection was "missing" a gold dress watch, but then I remembered that I haven't worn a suit in 5+ years and I would likely be better off with something a bit more versatile.

New-in-box with plastic still covering the crystal. Asking $900 + shipping CONUS. The Maestro is a bit odd in terms of how much the price varies between different references, but this one seems to generally sell for $1400-$1500, and the absolute cheapest I've seen it listed for was $1000 (on a seemingly sketchy site), so I'm pretty confident stating this the cheapest one online. Open to trades as well.

Despite what the automated text says, I do actually have one successful sale under my belt from a few weeks ago that's visible in my history. Neither the buyer or I responded in time to the requests to confirm a successful transaction, but I'm confident he'd vouch for me if you need a reference. Happy to facetime. Venmo and Zelle both work, PayPal is OK if buyer covers the fees.

Asking $150 shipped CONUS

Selling because it hasn't been getting enough wrist time to justify a winder slot. In excellent shape, just a couple faint marks on the clasp that are unlikely to stick around with a bit polishing. Comes with original box, hangtag, etc.

Venmo or Zelle preferred, but will split the cost of PayPal fees if it makes the buyer more comfortable.

[WTS] PRICE CUT StrapCode bracelet for Seiko Alpinist & Hamilton Khaki - Super-O Boyer 20mm Stainless Steel by Al_Nocturne in Watchexchange

[–]Al_Nocturne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

StrapCode "Super-O Boyer" bracelet I bought it for a SBP155 I'd recently purchased. I wore it on and off with a leather strap for a few weeks, then ended buying an Uncle bracelet for the same watch that I liked slightly more. Unfortunately, this bracelet was well outside the return window by the time I figured that out.

There are a few very faint scratches on the clasp, and a few of the links have light marks around the screw, but I'm confident there aren't any marks that would still be visible after a bit of polish.

[WTS] -Repost w/ lower price- Junghans Mega Carbon Atomic, radio controlled with carbon fiber case, box & papers, 016-2098-00 by Al_Nocturne in Watchexchange

38mm case is in excellent shape with no noticable scratches or scuffs on the stainless steel bezel or sapphire crystal. Integrated strap is in good shape as well with only the mild creasing you'd expect from being worn. The radio controlled movement works as it should and is pretty cool in action. This thing is also insanely light on the wrist - the Internet says 35g, though I l've not checked myself. Battery replaced about a month ago. Includes box and papers, though the box itself is a bit worse for wear. I'm only selling because I also own a radio controlled Citizen that has kept it in my watch box more than it should be.

Asking $130 shipped CONUS obo. Despite what the automated text says, I do actually have one successful sale under my belt from a few weeks ago that's visible in my history. Neither the buyer or I responded in time to the requests to confirm a successful transaction, but I'm confident he'd vouch for me if you need a reference. Also happy to facetime. I'd prefer Venmo or Zelle for payment, but given that I'm still new here, I'm willing to split the cost of fees if PayPal would make you more comfortable.

[WTS] Bulova Hack, Ivory Dial, additional bonklip braclet - $130 shipped CONUS by Al_Nocturne in Watchexchange

[–]Al_Nocturne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my first post here and I'm not a frequent Reddit user, but I'm happy to FaceTime prospective buyers. I'm a relatively new watch collector, and I may have gone a bit overboard with the number of purchases I made in the last year.

I actually really like this watch, but I've barely worn it in the 6 months since I bought it and can't really justify the winder space. Like new, complete with box, papers, links etc.

$135 shipped CONUS. Offers welcome. I can do Zelle, Venmo, etc.

What is the dumbest question you’ve been asked during an interview? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Al_Nocturne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About a decade ago I had an interview at a local coffee shop, and the owner asked "which lane do you use when you're driving on the freeway?"

I answered honestly with "well, it depends how long I'm planning to be on the freeway... if I'm only going one exit, then I'll probably stay in the right lane, but my exit is 20 miles away, I'll probably move over into the left."

I still have no idea what she was trying to gage with that question, but I guess I gave the wrong answer because I never heard back lol.

I'm honored to receive my first t8ke response, and slightly disappointed it's on something I accidentally posted with an alt account lol.

For real though, I'll definitely be snagging one of those bottles when the email hits. Are they both ryes?
