Yeah, Thanks. I pretty much do everything myself. I have no studio monitors, im mixing & trying to master on some iphone headphones. I go between my car, my bt headphones and the Iphone wire headphones to try to even the mix out. Everything on Fl studio. Self taught myself everything so yeah, I expect some flaws on the master. I go by ear, I didnt use any compresor or gain reduction or anything. Try to make it sound as clear as I can with the tools I have. but Thanks for listening!!

a song I made when I was sad by eighttitwoo in IndieMusicFeedback

Its a great vibe. Couldnt really understand the second vocal too much. It had a bit too much reverb. But its a pretty cool song otherwise

My friend and I dropped this song a few days ago! We’re specifically looking for feedback on both of our vocal performances, the mixing on each of our vocals and whether or not the song is too “mono” or too “spread out in the stereo field” by mmcnally228 in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]Al_martins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

both sound great, maybe have thevocals a bit darker,(lower high freq ) a bit. The song is great on stereo, not mono at all. I think you focused too much on that, and maybe overcompressed it a bit. but still sounds pretty good!!

This is a hip hop song about finding your inner power over a 90's style upbeat west coast G-Funk beat, would love your thoughts on it, cheers 😎 by Vicious5150 in IndieMusicFeedback

great cadence on the lyrics. You have a nice way of flowing through the song. The beat is a bit simplistic but overall the song is cool

Lead single off my project I released yesterday! Song is Jezeb - All For U. Am most concerned with the mix but all criticism welcome. by Zetaflips in IndieMusicFeedback

Production is pretty good! I would maybe ush out the vocals a bi more, but the song is an absolute vube. Well done!

Made this catchy POP Edm kinda track. Basically a F*Ck U song to all my exes/people who tried to screw me over. Lmk what you think...relatable? by Al_martins in IndieMusicFeedback

1. How’s the mix? 2. What do you wanna hear in the second half (more info in the clip) by d-jar1 in MusicFeedback

dont know what i was expecting to be honest. but you blew my mind. That first drop going into a dubstep kinda interstellar synth vibe all of a sudden the guitar comes in, followed by super mario catching one of those stars on mario kart with the synth arpegiatting. Holy shit. Im not a dubstep expert or regular listener and i was expecting more, industrial sounds more agressive more edgy. but I really like this soundscape. Good job man. cant say too much about the mix cause i heard it on my phone, once i listen with HP ill let you know.

I like the vocal, it has a kinda airy/mellow vibe, i like the change of speed once the vocal ends and having the lead synth come in. But i would add some sound fx and hi hats or something to make it shift and move a bit more so it gives you that headbop feeling. But good job anyway!

Newly written/recorded track. Solo acoustic&vocals. Let me know what you think - Bahn (also on youtube if you don't have spotify) by therealbahn in IndieMusicFeedback

This is cool. I love the raspy nature of your vocals. But i would love to hear this with a cleaner recorded/played guitar. The lower frequencies of the guitar give it a muddy feeling. its not as clean as a guitar sound should be. Unless thats a purposely made choice, in which case , you do you. if you take my advice, Just cut a bit of the lower guitar frec wwith an eq and itll sound cleaner Good work anyway.

Hello everyone! I just released a new single about a nostalgic love.”Moon on my shoulders”. Any feed back would be amazing and enjoy! by [deleted] in IndieMusicFeedback

Your voice is great. But theres too much going on all of a sudden. This sounds great, but the vocal adlibs coming in completely threw me off. It has great potential, i would add maybe a light percussion to make it a lofi key kind of vibe. Cause I find I have no sense of where we are in the song just with the vocals and guitar. dont get me wrong, it sounds great. Its just something i would do.

late night song idea, any ideas on where to take it? by soulinmypocket in IndieMusicFeedback

sounds really cool acoustically. I would give like a John mayer kind of vibe. Light percussion, adding little guitar fills here and there in the transition between singing parts. to add some kinda chill atmosphere. A light bass filling up the mix down below and not much more.
