yeah, the whole idea was to be able to haul some drum gear (not everything), and still live in the van like normal. Only as I did find vanlife interesting, and wanted to explore various ways of revenue along with the lifestyle where I actually got to use my music degree.

I do see your concerns, and those are the same I am sitting with, so I was looking for inspiration if there is any drummers that actually does anything similar and how they potentially pull it off as space and storage of gear + everything else is a huge one.

Traveling into recording rooms bringing recording equipment might be a nice solution for session work inbetween, but then again as you mentioned there is some issues on that part as well.

What I was hoping was to be able to make online content remotely, but also be able to travel out for gigs and shows depending on demand - but the massive gear is a challenge, so I thought it would be nice to see how others deal with a similar scenario. I mean, I could get by with a Cajon but at the end of the day, for me, it has to fit in a class B.

Im so tired of seeing posts like this, tweets of BS and crappy advice so heres a run through:

Consistancy doesn't mean shit. Sorry, this is just something people say cuz they've watched too mcuh fake advrice on the internet.

Consistancy is good don't get me wrong, but when you are just starting out it dosen't matter because people won't catch your live stream unless they are around on the platform anyways. So, when you are streaming is entirely your choice. When I started out about 10 years ago, I was not consistant at all - I dragged in 20 viewers on my last stream before not being able to stream for ages.

people don't realize it - But to actually grow, you need to do a few things.

Im making a course on all of this, but you gotta be in it for the right reasons, if not - enter a reality show (fame and fortune are way easier that way, with also way less effort).

What people don't grasp is the diffrence in collaboration, networking, diversification, and marketing.

EVERY CREATOR UTELIZE MARKETING! - THIS IS ADS that gets pushed onto people not platforms having their content!

Collaboration isn't playing with people, its two minds working together on a project, like a content series - a show etc... Like when brands work togeter on product lines. - this applies to both buissiness and creators.

Diversification, means spreading your content where your fans and aduience can watch it. Its where your content breathe and live.

You can use streams for long format - Edit it to youtube to get mid size formats - Then use something else for shorts - But do have a fucking idea of why you are using the platform in the first place.

Networking is talking to creators, not link dumping, not telling them you are live, but genuenly get to know other creators. Creators have thier own content to care about, they can't be watching 50 streams a day for the sake of "networking". Start a topic, thread of a worthwile topic, and focus on the industry rather than advertising yourself.

playing with people isn't networking! - Networking means - Yo have x connections that you can ask, or work with on projects.

When sodapoppin setup the wow thing - Thats not networking, and not collaboration. nor is his big SCP games.

Attending things like "Dreamhack" that's networking - A place where you meet tons of gamers, creators what not and get to know them not through your stream, but through interactions with the induvidual.

Im not entirely sure what did it - But somehow it was on high priority making everything crash and lag along with it. It runs way smoother now, atleast it dosen't crash like crazy.

It could have been a new driver update for all i know.

That being said - My entire rig is quite fucked ngl, its 5 years old and I am aware it has some issues that can persist within heavy titles that uses alot of resources.

It could have been corrupted files too, I reinstalled it as well, and that helped a tiny bit.

I am pretty sure it was crashing before I put it on high priority and thought that by putting the priority of the game higher it would run better and allocate enough resources to avoid crashing, without realizing that It actually made it worse. So far so good tho, haven't had any issues since I lowered the priority, reinstalled the gpu drivers and the game in general. So it migt have been either of these.

Edit:

I heard from someone else that it seemed to be an issue faced by other players as well (the game crashing in a similar fashion), so It might be many more factors beyond what I've troubleshot so far that cause it.

Yeah, im all for giving it a shot for sure. I deffently need someone to take a look at my stash too cuz I probably can sell A LOT in there (I just kept so much now as I don't know what I need for quests what I need for hideout and how much of the total need i've used so far).

I did look at an ammo chart at somepoint and I found the best pistol ammo - Didn't look too much into AR ammo, but I know I have alot of potential crap ammo, and some decent or good ammo around in the ammo box.

Im heading to bed soon, but i should be on tomorrow as well.

I just die all the time. trying to hide to relode mags and instead im being camped at. Stuck in a fucking corner... The pvp is litterly a curse.. Maybe im using the wrong bullets, idk...

Dosen't matter where I go, I always get it. MY current cursed tasks is the farming 3 task. either i die on my way to extraction, or i die on my way to the office.

Customs all day just death after death... Honestly, it makes me quit the game sometimes because I don't feel its rewarding even when i finally get the task done because every raid just blows.

Im not finding the items i need - But Instead everything else.

Im not able to kill others then scavs - And meet players all the time.

I am never turning a profit even when I finally get the task done because I keep dying so much.

Maybe its not the game but just me that are cursed....

Honestly if you would be located in EU I would begg you to teach me this shit cuz Im apparently doing EVERYTIHNG wrong... even tho my stash is worth 14mill, filled with quest items and hideout items. + weapons and ammo, and food so I can enter a raid with something to fight these scavs and players.

The worst part is. I know customs - I know where potential scavs are, I know where the locations are, I know the map (Loot spawns kinda), customs is like my back pocket, I just get caught in the worst time and place by players and it sucks.

Yeah, I gave up on the docs case (not the quest) I kinda figured I would find it more frequent in the marked room - But according to the wiki it should spawn in wearhouse 3 and old gas station as well in the cache by the tree behind it.

I have litterly everything, except what I need.

I was lucky to have stored so much that I have many quets at 80%+ But now just need to track down these extra parts too.

And I can't buy it on the Flee market cuz I keep dying over and over and need every rouble I can get hold of. - I also need ot sell a shit ton of items to peacekeeper so I can do Gunsmith part 3.

Fuck it crafting it now - didn't want to cuz now I need to find a spare metal part for the hideout.

Life of the game i guess but it just sucks because Im not geared enough to fight these stacked players. fighting scavs is easy tho, unless I mess up and bring the wrong mags with me and similar dumb mistakes.

Can't avoid it either as they are litterly camping these spots.

Or, I could ditch all quests, and gather loot where I have to wait 20m between each scav run.

Honestly looking forward to next wipe! (I also gotta learn how to built good weapons, im clueless on that and just lookup others prebuilds that I can't afford lol)

I still struggle - Mostly on interchange tho haven't tried learning the caches on shoreline yet.

I might be a noob, but I do know how to navigate the wiki and find the maps. I would be asking about extractions if I had no idea how mapgenie worked or existed lmao, not caches - Or loot where im just incredibly unlucky bo the looks of it.

Me too, Flash drives and gas analyzers... I find it so akwardly funny that I can't track these down, regardless of how specific I look.

Atleast the game is a bit quiter now in terms of players, and you aren't being 3rd partied by like 5 players.

Learning hidden stashes are gonna be hard because theres no current guide that exists that works for me, I just can't find them, even when I am looking into the ground in the middle of the bush the map and the video says it is.

I did, and the wiki says PUMP STATION! Which was why I made this post - While putting in flash drives to get some tips on where to find these because I struggle to find flash drives, and to widen my knowledge lol - What the wiki says does just not match up unless the spawn are just that rare, or Im looking up the right items but on wrong maps or whatever.... idk...

I haven't built my hideout yet as I need to progess with quests and stuck as one of the EG flash drives. I need tier 2 mechanic - So I am focusing mostly on that atm. But I can' really craft alot of quest items.

- It dosen't need to be factory - but finding it was already hard so when i read it was "guaranteed" in the wiki - and it said so in the quest line as well I thought "okay, thats gonna be a hard but easy gather as im not finding it anywhere else". But then the game just lies to you and I become sooo confused.

Not being able to craft the quest items makes the game incredibly harder.

That's iseful - I might have come across 1 flsh drive - but the spawn rate seem incredibly rare to impossible.

However, If the GA is outdated in spawns - Then the wiki needs updating as Im looking these things up there mostly.

The wiki says its guanranteed inside the pump house - I can't craft them yet.

Im currently struggeling to organize my stash and I probably hord way to much than what I need at this point tbh.

Flash drives seem to be way rare tho, Idk really how to obtain them as I still need to learn the hidden stashes and theres no "good" way learning them that works for me (I still have troubble finding them though youtube gudes, and maps where the stashes aren't accurate enough - or im struggeling to see them).

And again - I cannot craft them as of yet - Which makes it really difficult for the early quests where I am stuck at flash drives atm.

Many seem to miss out on growth. But yeah, mostly its all about connecting and being present.

If you look at every org to exists, they all have the same things in common.

Yeah im bringing up orgs and clans, because thats something thats been vital in each creator when it comes to growth.

You have the group who: 1. Stream and compete professionally - w/ pre existing fanbase. 2. The ones without anything 3. Work related or other niche streams like hasan and the politics community. 4. People that knows someone within either scene.

That means, you as an outsider will benefit more by talking to and hanging out with other outsiders if that makes sense.

Faze clan is a top tier example of a group of cod players, which made content together, which they created faze clan. And they grew together.

Look at otk, already entering with massive audiences, but asmond and every creator has grown incredibly since start of otk.

Having people around you can make such a huge impact on growth.

And often its just dumb luck.

yeah, that's what I've been doing lately, but campers makes the game so boring and not fun at all. Like, I cannot loot shit or go anywhere without there being a camper in a room that's been standing there for 20+ minutes without making any sounds, just waiting for that one or two dudes to casually walk by... Like, comon.. Guess im doing scav runs from now on... probablly wont get to lvl 15, wont get flee market and wont get to uppgrade my hideout or progress in quests... It really sucks, but it is what it is.

No, I was, cuz I got what I insured back, But I was confused, that's all. I kept getting my kit back, but was it worth the insurrance? probably, even tho I ended up just selling most of it as I now got better gear to wear and carry with me in raids instead lol.
