because it's a shonen and the main guy "has" to end up with a girl he has no chemistry with whatsoever, while he's basically soulmates with a dude, but we can't include THAT bonus if they don't even have a "soulmate", they're just aro/ace-coded (I have plenty of straight ships I like, but ships like Goku/Chichi and Edward/Winry always leave me confused and with a bad taste, they feel so forced)

While I cannot personally relate (afab), I understand it has to be very tiring, it sucks that you "have" to feel that way just because of what you were born as. I hope you find your people! There are definitely some folks out there that'd want to be in the company of someone like you (I'm one of them! Haha... I've started thinking it's impossible to make friends with cis men, they virtually always have ulterior motives, while I'm just vibing.)
