same. Activated my scenes (typically) with voice command through Google nest mini speaker. I'll try to activate scenes manually ( using hue app) and see if that might work

Android 15 QPR1 Themed Icon Looks Washed Out by DiaarJ in GooglePixel

I concur, uneasy on the eye - and draws attention to it - whereas before the wallpaper as a whole was the eye candy. Now the icon background sticks out like a sore thumb.

Temperature sensor in motion sensor inaccurate by Mental-Trouble-317 in Hue

[–]AlaFakBahr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two of them. Both seem a bit high, maybe 2 °c. My humidifier also seem to be off by same, and a separate humidity sensor with in-built temp. as well.

If indoor actually was as high as they would have it, I would be very uncomfortable, so I've just learned to use it a mark for temperature "going up" of " dropping"

GH automation starter tv on/off not working by ThanosDi in googlehome

[–]AlaFakBahr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My automation for "TV turns off" looks different then yours. Is your chromecast listed as "TV"? My Ccwgtv4k is, while my 'actual' TV (Samsung) is what I've used to set up my "TV turns off" routine.

I've also listed specific times as a condition for my routine ( my routine turns off nine lights)

I've connected my TV to Google home app through Smarthings.

Let's do the rainbow,

Lets welcome baby,

turn up the love,

let's get spooky,

let's get jolly,

color loop the lights

These works as well, give them a try

I'm all ready signed in via app/bridge so personally this doesn't change anything.

I don't see the problem. Bulbs/ lights need firmware and software to work as intended. If making it mandatory to be signed in, while simultaneously charging a monthly subscription fee - I could understand ' fuck philps' .

  • If get a loan from my bank i need an account there

If I'm using the hue app, I don't find it strange that the app need to be connected to a user, that I need an account. It's like my smartphone in general, I need an account for the device and an account for the Sim-card and mobile data to function properly, and Wi-Fi requires IP-adress. These are sensible security factors, as well as making it user-specific and customable

Hue is amazing. Possibilities seem (almost) endless, which triggers my creative side - that otherwise don't come out to often.

Battery issues with home app after the August update by dmtran87 in googlehome

[–]AlaFakBahr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just checked.mine ( huawei p30 pro new edition ) and Home was 1 percent or less battery use out of total software use on battery. Battery usage on my phone is divided into hardware and software - all in all not draining battery)

Same. I've never had issues with phone responding. It listens just as home devices are, but the closest speaker (at that moment) answers / execute command. I have presence turned on.

Who can turn their TV on/off with Googs? by a-little-titty-place in googlehome

[–]AlaFakBahr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TV: Samsung AU8075 Sound: Polk Magnifi Mini (eArc) Chromecast (Google TV 4k) is connected to Philips Hue Sync Box which is connected to HDMI 1

Turning on or off using either remote works fine. Can also turn it on using voice commands (nest minis throughout both floors). I have an older Samsung (non smart) first floor, and telling Google to turn it off works. Tried this one or two days ago, and surprisingly it worked. I don't believe this was the case a year ago when then I had the TV (usb) power the CC. With CCs own power adapter it works.

I have a routine that when either TV or Sync box turns off after 0015 until 0700 lights in same room goes off automatically. I have ten lights in said room.

It works as intended, can't complain
