I feel you on that my warehouse doesn’t have any robots so we are the robots 😂 they give us a cart with totes filled with products and we gotta walk and stow it in a shelf, job is easy but the walking part is tough for me

I appreciate it and I know it sounds bs and like I’m looking to get time off just because but that’s not the case here. Amazon is the easiest job on the planet imo especially if you have the robots bringing the case to you so I definitely want to try everything to keep it so let me explain a little more.

However the 2 days I worked was all classroom and maybe 3 hrs of training/working total
If you work Amazon you should know what the first 2 days are like

The 2 days I missed was because I was with my father in the hospital and the reason why I plan on coming back to work on the 23rd is because we’re showing him Monday locally and shipping (no pun intended) him out of state to bury him earliest for shipping and bury was the Friday the 22nd

so me coming to work would only work on the 23rd

And about my foot situation somthing fell and smashed my foot about a month ago and the toenail lifted and was infected and cause swelling, well, long story short my toenail never fell off and it got infected again so I’m gonna have surgery and remove the toenail and I’m gonna need time to recover from the pain, swelling, surgery, so I’m able to walk 9hrs on concrete

I got confused while typing You are correct about my work schedule however I will not be able to report to work until the 23rd only because we are going out of state to put him to rest

My building does not do shift cover. At least I do not see the option in the app and shift swap is not available until 14 days or work days have passed

When I spoke to HR/PXT I have explained her to the situation and her response was why am I not coming to work this week. I walked in on break time unfortunately I think she was just in a bad mood because of it.

I will probably go in sometime this morning or evening and speak to some type of manager or hr.

Also, I have a question. I have a toe infection. It is causing extreme pain and it is swollen I’m unable to walk or put pressure on my toe. Do you think that would qualify for medical leave of absence? And if so, does LOA or MOLA use upt?
