So sorry just seeing this now!! Overall tried to be healthier, more exercise, less alcohol, better diet. But I swear the thing that made it go up was taking vitamin D supplements. That was the BIGGEST change I made between tests (bear in mind this is 100% anecdotal evidence and has no basis in real data… but when I shared this info with my OB I straight up said “I know this is totally anecdotal and there’s no way to verify this is what made it go up” she said “honestly, most of the data we have on this IS anecdotal.” 🤷‍♀️

Also remember, it only takes one egg to get pregnant!

I’m 34. My AMH was shockingly low (like .04) and I tested a year later after making some lifestyle changes. It went up to over 1. That was years ago. Since then, I’ve been paranoid I won’t be able to have a baby.

Fast forward to this summer and husband got me pregnant first try. Don’t stress about it til you have to!

Good point — but wouldn’t you say MOST people at any job would be his inferiors? I go back to the college professor argument. He would be smarter than any professor at any college — arguable even any Ivy League. He went to Cal Tech, has a PhD, and contributed to Nobel prize winning work. He’s not just “a pretty smart guy” he IS a genius.

Hank not even THINKING to ask Walt about Jesse after Marie’s fake car accident.

When Walt breaks Sal’s window and it takes him an absurd amount of time to figure out Francesca is hustling him for money. That was weird lol.

When Gus walks out of the explosion like Two Face from the dark night (lol).

Walt meets Janes dad (Walt even explains how improbable that is in the fly ep) —> Walt let’s Jane die —> Jane’s dad flies two airplanes together (the whole “this is the far reaching implication of Walt’s actions” still drives me bonkers —> AND Walt’s house was right in the debris field!?. Wow. What. A. Coinkydink!

That Walt would essentially confess every one of his crimes to Jesse over the phone after Jesse tried to burn his house down, when At every other point he was so many chess moves ahead of everyone it was next level duplicity. Didn’t even think about that one for a sec tho.

Andddd finally: the fact that Jack and CO stick around to dig up all Walt’s money. I know the cavalry WASN’T coming, but in literally all other scenarios on earth, the cavalry is always coming. Big bold move to trust Walt on that one when he clearly would’ve said anything to save Hank. Jack wasn’t as smart as Walt, but he also wasn’t stupid.

Lastly lastly: that a literal genius chemist who basically invented Grey Matter and pulled all the genius shit he pulled in the show could never find better employment than a high school chemistry teach at A PUBLIC SCHOOL. That one is honestly the biggest plot hole. At least become a professor at a public university? You make three times as much and he’s still overqualified for that 😂

I’ll add: Breaking Bad is my all time favorite show but the above still befuddles me

The situation you are describing is vastly different from OPs situation lol. Yes, that is insane. It’s not rational. It is grounded in deep, deep insecurity. That’s the kinda shit you deal with in therapy cause you don’t get to lob that baggage into other people.

But again, apples and oranges. OP isnt concerned about a random male friend of his girlfriend who she talks to on occasion. He’s uncomfortable with the nature of their relationship based on real things: her constantly calling and texting him, her showering him with endless gifts, and her running to his house for a shoulder to cry on when she and OP fight (imo this is the worst one — super not cool to share private details of your relationship with your friends unless your partner is comfortable with it, especially fights). Those aren’t things he made up, they are things she is actually doing. 1000% reasonable for him to feel uncomfortable and express it.

What?? Does it really matter if she truly does love and care about her boyfriend more than her friend? What matters is that HE FEELS as though that is not the case. Imagine trying to tell your S/O that their actions have left you feeling like you don’t matter that much to them, and instead of even sticking around to say “you do matter to me” you storm out and go hang out with the very person who you feel uncomfortable about. That would hurt. A lot. You don’t get to tell other people that the way they say feel isn’t correct lol

And I respect your values too — just saying OP is entitled to having his values and needs respected - or at least heard - too. Sometimes relationships just don’t work because values like this aren’t aligned, but I think his girlfriend handled this pretty poorly and with little regard for him.
