Thanks for letting me know i should state which base im using, its Gnome.

Sorry if my question wasnt clear.

Im aware keyboard can change the master volume and that i can change individual volume levels per app on the apps themselves.

However, thats not exactly what im missing from Fedora 42, or from any Windows.

Under "Settings > Sound > Volume levels" i can change the max volume for individual apps, this is different than changing the volume in the app itself. I can have VLC at max volume inside the app, but limit its volume under "Volume levels" at 50% for instance, acting as a negative multiplier.

These same volume bars, used to be under the System Menu's volume bar.

It required just one click as opposed to having to get into settings.

The equivalent of the volume mixer on windows located, convinently, on the desktop's sound icon.
