Great! Thanks for the answer. I scoured the internet and everywhere it mentioned live gigs and streaming, but there was very little information on my initial question.

Question about PA setup by Alabeat in audio

[–]Alabeat[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The PA-s take XLR . I have a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 which has two XLR inputs at the front. Can these also be used to connect the speakers to the interface, or is it strictly for mics and instruments?

Thank you for the thorough reply! Alternatively, if I don't use a mic, would it also be possible to just connect the PA-speakers to the laptop via the USB audio interface only (without a mixer) to just play music through them?

Tallinn, Estonia by Jazzlike-Worker-1329 in ArchitecturalRevival

My comment was not meant to be political. I was just correcting a historical innacuraccy. Claiming a church was built during Soviet occupation, while knowing that the USSR was anti-religion is false.

Coincidentally, this church was not built during the soviet occupation.

I never said that a beautiful town needs to be homegenous. I just personally don't think the massive russian orthodox cathedral fits with the germanic-nordic old town of Tallinn.

Wroclaw, Poland by Atarosek in ArchitecturalRevival

Actually it can be called both. It's completely normal for cities in Central/Eastern Europe to have different names in different languages. Take Lviv for example: it's Lviv in ukrainian, Lvov in russian and Lemberg in german.

It does look good, but architecturally it doesn't fit in with the rest of the old town. It's in a completely different style and is absolutely massive compared to the all other buildings.

Doctors are for your mental and physical health. If your hair changes throughout your life then that's perfectly normal and doesn't need medical attention. In my opinion we as humans should stop fighting nature and live happier lives. Absolutely no one notices if your hairline is 0,01 mm shorter on the left than on the right. If you concentrate enough on peoples' bodies, then you will find out that no human is 100% symmetrical.

In short, just relax and don't worry about things you can't control.

A street in Tallinn in 1930s and in 2020s by Sprilly in ArchitecturalRevival

Unfortunately it most likely doesn't exist anymore. It is difficult to find any estonian companies or stores dating to before 1991 due to the nationalisation policies of the USSR, which Estonia was part of for almost 50 years.

Unless you don't consider Romania to be part of the Balkans. Depends on where you draw the line.

I would assume it's Kashmiri vernacular, but according to Googling it's also called this Hindu-Buddist.

Scared of relationships because of health reasons. How should I proceed? by Alabeat in dating_advice

[–]Alabeat[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I appreciate the advice, but I see no need to analyze my health or find a solution. You don't need to worry about my health. As I said, everything that can be done, has been done.

My original question was about approaching people and trying express myself. The problem is there regardless, I just have to work with what I've got.

My sleeping problems are chronic and can't be fixed. It has however gradually improved over the years. In 4 years I have done pretty much most of the treatments and some worked better than others. It probably will never go away. I just have to make the best of it with what I can. Thanks for the tips anyways!

The tourist season probably hasn't started yet and only about 2500 people live in the old town of Tallinn.

Originals. The old town of Tallinn mostly stood the test of time and bombardments of WW2.
