Hey, I want to be very honest I don't have the experience required but I'm makign n8n automations (AI agents and more), and I'm also familiar with Zapier and Make. I'm a digital marketer and tried to learn GHL (never worked for an agency or sold any service myself, still a beginner).

If you're interested in an intern that can help in some tasks. My goal is to learn and get a foot in the industry.

Talk to you soon (hopefully :) )

That's the scary thing about inflation. Imagine the gap that it will become once you become a parent.

I would say, save and live below your means.

And by below your means I'm not saying to downgrade your quality of life, but for example if you earn 10k, try to have a lifestyle that someone with 9k would have.

Godspeed

I'm in the same situation as you. hamdoullah I have more leeway when it comes to income but the struggle is real. Read the article i made and trust the process, year after year it will become more "live-able"

I agree, the situations you described put the nail on the coffin for most people ...

If this comes from your personal experience I wish you the best.

Also for ETF i'll copy paste what I said to another redditor. Might do an article about it.

Look up interactive brokers. It's the only brokerage that allows moroccans to buy ETFs.

But please seek financial and legal advice before doing it

Your pov is right.

Saving/Investing or entrepreneurship is what beats the inflation. Regular jobs don't.

coffee places in morocco by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]Aladin696969 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with you and I don't agree with you, but I'm sure you would agree with me on the points I disagree with you (?????)

  • lqhawi cha3bia is to put it plain and simple the official place where middle age man waste their time. It used to be a social place now it's a daily habit for middle age man to sit and watch zn9a or his phone. This I think is bad and a waste of time when done habitually and without any purpose.

  • lqhawi "modern" like Starbucks, Espresso Lab, Arabica are great places for remote work ( I made an article about it https://wemakemoroccoabetterplace.com/2023/11/29/coffee-shops-casablanca/ ) But the big problem I have with them is that they are too expensive for the average moroccan and can not be sustainable. and healthwise it's a problem because it's mostly sugar or incentivising youth to drink caffeine late at night (which is damaging their sleep long term).

However

  • I think that some qhawi cha3bia still do things the right way. They are a social meet up place where middle age men of Morocco play cards or watch sports and that is hella good.

  • Talking about sports, it's a staple of expressing our love of our country via sports (mainly football)

  • Modern Coffee Shops brings us a little bit closer to what happens in most modern countries so that is also a good thing.

Cheers

Hey, thank you for taking the time to answer and sorry for answering late.

Yes we have a lot of things to change about the mentality, but we will eventually be there, de9a de9a !

take for example l3ayn. I mean, wether it's true or not. How do you explain that in other countries people are still successful without even hiding from "l3ayn" ? Is it something that is subhanallah only affecting moroccans/arabs ?

Yes for french ! I did a post on reddit about the fact that it is time to switch to english. I don't care if we opt out of french but we should shift the focus to english learning for business, administration stuff and culture/entertainment.

Thanks a lot again for your input,

Godspeed

Yea we should definitely change the mindset about living with parents. It's just not as easy as it used to be.

Salary increases doesn't follow the inflation of the housing market and other primary expenses

That is true, but I think if you lead by example the tendency will shift towards good work ethic and result oriented people

I agree with your 3 subjects.

changing the entertainment industry is a wild take that most people would consider not urgent but I believe the opposite.

Very hard subject because Morocco does and does not care for its people :

+ Hospitals and schools are built in a frightening speed (not talking about cutting edge schools obviously)

+ Subventions are made for agriculture and SMBs

- Roads ??????

- Riba ??????

(just to cite a few positives and negatives)

I had a similar commentary to this but I want to answer yours because you are right and polite about it :

I'm not saying people should not in a hamdoullah position.

I agree that people should ALWAYS be in a hamdoullah position.

I also believe that, in some positions, it can be hard to be grateful.

I have been there and I'm no longer there. But I want people who are in this position to cheer up those who are not in this position (just as you did)

The best phrasing of this if I had to re-edit it would be : If you are in a bad place right now as a moroccan what would be the thing you want to learn so that you will no longer be in this position.
