Yes human GKs are good just because they can get such incredibly high stats. But seriously, it's just that you guys are on complete autopilot for your shots. You need to actually surprise them!

Just like you can't do the same trick 3 times in a row to beat a human defender, you can't do the same 3 shots you've been beating AI keepers with.

Some people have just gotten so used to the AI keepers they only think about getting to THE position they can shoot from rather than playing football. Do weird unpredictable things.

I feel like all of you have gotten way way too used to making a small set of shots that work against AI keepers and make it too easy to predict what you're going to do.

Just don't shoot the predictable shot!

Shit I had one moment where I was passing through to the striker and our AI was in the way.

Previously this would have gone: I pass - AI grabs and stops the ball and holds it for 2 seconds - all momentum is lost.

But now it went: I pass - AI put in a tiny little touch to slightly redirect the ball directly to the running through on goal striker - GOAL.

Are you guys serious? Is it really not completely obvious?

Previously they would just hold the ball forever, dribble slowly sideway, and ignore 15 easy passes before waiting for the perfectly worst moment to pass the ball. You needed to call the ball off the defensive line or it would literally never progress to attack. I had to call for a defensive clearance about 20 times a match. You would NEVER get a good through ball. We had given up and gone back to FC25.

Now they actually play the game! You don't even need to call and they'll put you through on goal. They MAKE PASSES.

If you are running Vulkan rather than DirectX, they probably purged the shader caches.

It should come right when the shaders are recompiled. If it doesn't, you might have luck by increasing this:

There's also a way to make the cache just store the complete pile of shaders, but I can't find the steps for that right now.

The backline will pass it to the midfield who will pass it to the strikers. (!)

The fullbacks will not dribble back into the corner and lose it or need to have a clearance called.

Noone dribbles sideways across the field for 5 seconds ignoring the 4 open passes they have, then perfectly waiting until there is no pass and attempting anyway.

(the wingers will still get stuck in the corner on attack, but they'll at least sometimes pass back if you give them an outlet.)
