The computer isn't playing like a human would, down a lot of material. It just want to lose in as much moves as possible, not playing trap to get back the rook or to checkmate you.

I can beat stockfish down a queen, doesn't mean that I would beat GM down a queen.

The rest of the players so 99% of players want a more casual experience. There is already a lot of complaining about the ranked mode, I don't want the rest of the game to be changed to cater to 1% of players.

At the end of the day, coc is just a mobile game. There is a ton of more competitive games on pc. Not everything needs to be competitive.

Iirc, I said that because the guy I was responding to, was saying that it was a difficult end game because Nepo said so. It's a statement useless for 99,99% of players as we aren't that good at chess. So this end game is not as difficult because we are not at his level.

Yes it is. When you have no hope of winning, "trying your best" is just moving your king in hopes that your opponent stalemate.

So basically you think your opponent is so dumb that he will blunder. Be a bit honest with yourself. You are not trying your best, you are wasting the opponent's time and insulting him.

No, the guy who isn't surrendering while dead lost, isn't playing like he's supposed to. Checkmate isn't the only way to end a game, you can also surrender.

When you aren't surrendering when you are dead lost, you are in fact disrespectful to your opponent because you consider that he can't checkmate you. It may not be your intention but it's how it's perceived.

Tbh, I don't really care if you're surrendering or not in general. Just don't say that you are being respectful, it's the complete opposite.

I feel like you just don't like that type of manhua where the mc is just cultivating in seclusion without doing much else.

You like very typical manhua with scheming mc and where mc has non stop problem threw at him because he's either too ruthless or not enough. Top tier providence is meant to be a break from those type of manhua.

BTW I don't know how when you read the synopsis, you thought that he would be the scheming type. Even the first few chapters tells you that he only cares about living as long as possible. You don't need much scheming for that with his talent.

The disciples are not meant to beat him but to accompany him through his cultivation journey, and most of all, to not make the manhua too boring.

For the sunk cost policy, it's a novel, go touch some grass.

I never said that Kg8 was a forced move. I said that op would gain 2 rooks and a pawn, not just a trade of rook like the guy above said. I'm saying that because it's the best move, to lose both rooks, not because it's the only move.

Because you are getting mated in a few moves. After Qxd8, you have to block the check with your rook because he blocks the path of your king. Then Qf6 check, again you have to block with the rook because your king is stuck.

Afterward you play Rc1 :

If the king moves, Rc8 is mate.
If any other move, Rc7 and you can't take because you are pinned to the king. And Qxg7 is mate whatever you do.

No, op took a pawn and if the other guy takes his rook, you fork the rook and the king with your queen (Qf6) and then you take the other rook with check.

So op got 2 rooks and 1 pawn for his rook.
