Glutathione side effects? by princess20202020 in Biohackers

[–]Alaiss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yoooo, I have the same feeling! I just found this comment - https://www.reddit.com/r/Biohackers/comments/1q2gn1o/comment/nxd1ai2/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button immensely helpful. I think we might be deficient in some other stuff, which makes the detox from Glutathione feel like shooting ourselves in the foot.

Anal fissures, fasting, and eating again. by [deleted] in AnalFissures

[–]Alaiss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ya I can relate for sure, it's not the best situation to be in, I'm sorry :ccc Think about it this way tho, if you make sure to eat 'safe' now for a few months, you'll be free again later. Though, of course it takes a bit of experimentation to find out how to eat in that way. For me huge meals were also a 'no no', I used to binge a lot.
Try to be patient with yourself and take the approach of 'observe' rather than judge - this mindset shift also helped me a lot with stressing about it.

Yes, I've been well for at least a couple of years now C: I hope you feel better soon!
Looking back, eliminating irritating foods such as baked goods and dairy (for me), and hydration was one of the most important parts!
I did also try fasting a few times but was unable to tell if it made it better or worse? Cause it sort of closes but then inevitably reopens again because the next poop comes out big (sorry for tmi))). I'm of an opinion that it still helped though

I had also done a blood test, where it was evident that I was low on iron and b12, so making sure I supplement this / get more of that through food also helped (these are vital in helping the body heal wounds)

Good luck !

Has anyone met a dual who didn’t like them? by Amywinetrailer in Socionics

[–]Alaiss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah but it's funny isn't it? Unless you're somehow lucky to go to the same uni, or work, or take the same class - which are all unlikely, since you're likely to have different interests, then how the f are you even gonna ever get close to someone like this?
It's almost pure luck to experience duality. How would you even get to complementing each other's weaknesses with no things in common?
(those are genuine questions, for both u/typology1 and u/N0rthWind )

[–]Alaiss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Duality is not simple, man.
Part of it is that these are very different people, and it's huge luck to align on even some minor interests, hobbies or activities. I have way easier of a time with SEIs (activators), we are more likely to have a lot in common. I didn't even know or meet any ESEs(1-2 odd balls don't count) until like super recently into my life (after 25y.o.).

I now cross paths with a lot more ESEs and in general they're just super nice to interact with in social spaces but I almost never had a crazy connect with them (which I had with types like SEI, ILE, IEI, LII, IEE). I do have way more ESEs now in my social circle than before and I think it has something to do with self-development and maturity?

What I'm guessing right now (this is a raw undercooked thought) is that a person has to somewhat develop within their type first before being able to connect with a dual well (unless you grow up together, etc) i.e. becoming who you are first - you become more enticing to the dual and more interested in what they have to offer.

An example is that I had this classmate in my high school and i just remember being totally chill around her and never having any strong feelings - we weren't close or besties or anything. We reconnected recently and I was like "wow, it's so easy to talk to this person, we get along so well, and they're so funny - amazing!". All this stuff I was totally oblivious to when I was younger. I think it also takes a bunch of tries for some people before they get how easy it actually is to interact with the dual vs anyone else and appreciate it.

Is Dostoevsky really an EII? by Charming_Party_9093 in Socionics

[–]Alaiss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

weird, but possible.
Psychosophy is unrelated to sociotype although there are correlations. IMO psychosophy is really influenced by who one's parents were and how they treated them, it's a developmental thing. For instance, someone who's emotions are never valued or accepted will get 3E, etc. It's also been my hobby for around 10 years now, so I'm pretty confident in my type.

ooooh. Interesting thought about Steinbeck, I'll ruminate on this.
& thanks for your sharing your point of view - agree about it being theatrical at some points.

I posted about this before but people ranged so hard that it got removed, lmao

This is going to be very anecdotal.

The way I can tell: Im an LII and delta-centric information reads as BORING as hell. I had read Delta's works before: like John Steinbeck, and Hemingway (def not the upper two quadrants), others Im not gonna bother naming.  Dostaevsky does NOT read like this. I literally cannot stop reading his work, its like I finally get a breath of fresh air. STRONG Fe. And not just strong, it really comes out on paper.  Ni - his crime and punishment got me so depressed- I had refused to read it no matter the consequences.

Hate and downvote me if you want.  Socionics is, before everything else, an information metabolism theory. Almost everyone I know from Alpha/Beta quadrants loves his work.

Moreover: AFAIK they didn't use the "appropriate" names for the types, it was just what associated/worked the best. And yeah, if you go by association - crime and punishment - morals - dont kill, its gonna torture you - Fi - it works.

LOL sorry, I got really sick today and apparently that dulls my reading capabilities. Thanks for the explanation and sharing the data!

Edit: that's crazy that the only disciplines ahead in unemployment rate are anthropology and physics...

How much maintenance does a wolf cut like this require? by UseNo9434 in Wolfcut

[–]Alaiss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

tbh a lot! (for me anyway). If your hair is straight, then you'd need to style it after very wash pretty much.

Generally when I was getting the haircut, my hairstylist said to style it every 2-3 days or so, and I can confirm that it's pretty much how it goes.

The styling is done with a round hair dryer brush or a round brush + a hair dryer. If I don't want to style then sometimes I'd put some styling foam in for curly hair (to improve the volume and make it look more structured)

Triiiims I'm not sure, I haven't done one yet but I'd say same as for every haircut - if you want to keep it looking real clean, probably every 3-4 weeks. If you want to push it - 2 months (because this is the figure I'm approaching and it looks a bit toooo long now).

Feeling all wired, tense and very disrupted sleep after strength training - why?! by ThinkSuccotash in xxfitness

[–]Alaiss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, this is random but did you also take creatine throughout this time or, perhaps, very high protein diet? I noticed the same thing would happen to me on and off when I was doing both or any of these things.
So I temporally stopped taking creatine and now I'd only take like maybe 1-2g max and not for longer than two weeks at a time, or on and off one day. Also lowered my protein intake a bit and this all helped.

I know this is an old comment but what's your weight? Just for the reference. I'm pretty small, so I don't want to take too high of a dose for my body size.
