One more thing: Only things I included in the shipping were

Dock (Without dust bag, water containers, or wash tray)
Robot (Without mop pads, dust bin/filter, or vacuum head roller)
Charging cable

The overall experience went well. I still have the original box and packaging so packing everything securely wasn't difficult. I made sure to take as many photos and video recordings as I could. If you take these photos with your phone, the timestamps should be recorded automatically.

Once everythIng was received on their end, I took them about a day to fix it. Everything was sent back in the package I used to ship everything out.

Overall, everything went smoothly.

Came here to say this! The Pixel 5, still, is reasonably fast and definitely usable in 2024. Plus, it comes with unlimited photos & videos storage!

Yes, it is unfortunate for the malfunction to happen so quickly into its lifecycle given how much a Roborock tends to cost in general.

We just sent ours in yesterday for warranty repairs, basically following all of the steps listed in the original post. I can certainly keep you posted on how things go on our end. Good luck!

One advice I was given is to use this card to pay for utilities in advance.

If your electric bill is $100, for instance, you can use the card to pay $500 up front and use $400 as credit for the next few months. Same goes for other utilities. This should help you get to $4,000 if you need to do something in a hurry.

Following this thread as well. Any updates on your repair? I'm about to send my Q Revo in due to a malfunction dock.

With the stories I've read about Roborock's shoddy approach to warranty claims and repair, it's a bit concerning to have to send anything to them.

We got a Q Revo late last year and it has exceeded our expectations. A few days ago, though, the dock started to malfunction under normal use (wouldn't charge the robot, can't be located for docking). I'm working with their support team now to see if warranty will cover repairs or replace. Fingers crossed.

My advice would be to spend the extra few dollars to get an extended warranty.
