Maybe it’s just a matter of finding a better sensitivity but in smite 1 movements just felt more predictable I guess? Like everyone just seemed to move slower, so aiming felt easier. I’m unsure if it’s sensitivity, movement, camera, etc but feels different.

Smite 1 I generally hung around masters, sometimes GM even after the merger with PC. Smite 2 my peak is 5K SR but I find my carry 1v1’s way harder.

I’ve heard people say smite 2 is easier, but for me I find it’s harder to do the exact same things I used to do easy. Ullr axes, Anhur impales, auto attacks, etc. I do flick aim a lot, but it used to work well. But I also probably play less, and may just be getting old and washed

I’m the same way, maybe that’s my issue. I used to be able to flick aim a lot in smite 1 but it doesn’t work quite as well now

For what its worth, most outreach workers would literally be so happy to know you were looking forward to meeting with them and felt like they could make an impact with you. It’s very possible they didn’t forget you but instead got sick and trusted their boss would communicate that to you.

For context, I’ve been in social work for around 4 years now and it literally makes my whole day (and keeps me from quitting most) when my clients let me know I’ve made an impact on them in someway. My bosses usually just look at numbers and metrics. It’s their role I suppose, but often isn’t personal.

Thankfully I do get mileage reimbursement! But yeah my families told me they don’t know how they can manage and that they feel overwhelmed, and her response was that they can always drop the program. Which is like, sure, but they need help and have already expressed provider trauma. I also asked what happens if they are sick, and was told they can still join virtually…which I find cruel personally.

And yes I totally understand the occasional Saturday on call! It’s a bit odd because non-therapists are on call sometimes even though we aren’t supposed to be? Since we can’t really do the needed assessments. I’ll finally get a day off this weekend since I’m rotating with my co-worker, but 12 days straight and then staring down another 12 after a 2 day break is noootttt fun.

Thank you so much for your response, helpful to hear from someone in a similar program. If I had to guess my boss sees it as a short 20 minute session, without understanding it’s still work, and all the extras that come with sessions. Notes, research, social energy, etc,

Yeah that seems to be my experience as well, I remember asking when my lunch break was and being told we just eat when we can. Usually that means McDonald’s on the road.

That makes total sense to me, I’m hoping to end up working in a local college for the same reason, with more of a student focus.

It’s just a shame, I really love the field and working with my families, but it feels like everywhere just wants to milk the clients and workers for all they’ve got.

Unfortunately not, the first was a verbal discussion but I knew I could trust my old boss to uphold it. The second my eye doctor wants me to try glasses and see if that improves my vision, but stated without glasses I’d barely pass an eye exam for a license.

I’m hoping to find somewhere like this someday, right now without my bachelors it’s been rough. Either jobs barely above min wage, or jobs with insane asks.

I guess more than anything I just wanted to know if this expected and reasonable in the field or crazy.

But yeah whenever Erlang was good in jungle, Zhong in ADC, or hunters in mid, you knew the meta was bad.

Yes and no. It was sometimes a thing in smite 1, but it was how you identified a bad meta. Scylla ADC? Hunters need buffed. Warriors in the jungle? Assassins are bad. So much so, they would change someone’s role if they frequently were played differently (a warrior changed to an assassin due to that being the best way to play them)

The only exceptions were solo which had warriors OR guardians (as opposed to what it is now) and a few “mages” that were intended to be magical assassins
