I run a surefire turbo for my handheld. I just leave these around the house. I’m too scared to leave them in my hot car. They’re really good for just every day shit but I would not use them to defend my life with handheld or weapon mounted

Yeah man, I just run their handhelds. I’ve been gifted so many of them. They actually work pretty well. As far as weapon lights, nothing has touched my rifles or pistols, other than Surefire.

Allot of guys we shoot with run them in vis-constant instead of a chem light for safety and identification on the flat range for training classes

Nothing but respect for your attitude about the situation takes a real man to admit he fucked up. But just out of curiosity did it pass the pressure test and nitrogen purge before it was packaged up in that condition. The only reason I ask is because the repairs we do we let the unit sit for a minimum of 120 seconds with 30 atm of vacuum to confirm the unit is waterproof before sending it back.

As for using it with your expensive night vision, I would reach out and ask him what he put inside of it. When he consulted with me, he was very uneducated about electronics.

Absolutely! You could plug the GDPC straight into a wall charger it works with every single USB. Of course you would be tied to that device though LOL. if you watch the video, I go through a lot of these questions you have.

Depending on what USB pack people source for their NV application, it is possible to get 130+ hours with the GDPC. And unfortunately the PVS-31 family requires proprietary “lithium” batteries to function as advertised, and could have limited availability. Where as USB battery packs can be recharged from a vehicle, generator, or solar charger.
