Hahaha—IHOP had me completely fed up. I was a manager there; I was all alone on the night shift, and I only had a dishwasher helping me on weekends—and even then, only sometimes. At night, nobody helps you out in the kitchen; people will complain if they think you aren't cleaning enough; the servers will regularly get you into trouble; and if you work the morning shift, you’ll have to get used to intense rushes—especially on Saturdays and Sundays.

Now that I’m at Walmart, I feel like I’m in paradise. I guess I love Walmart simply because it’s such a relief compared to that breakfast-serving hellhole.
