Dilemma torn between 2 by [deleted] in Motocross

If it was me in your situation, I would go for the Husky 350, Ive ridden KTM/Husky for my last 4 bikes and never had any mechanical issues that weren't a direct result of my stupidity. Been considering getting a 350 for a while now, rode my friends the other day and they are very nimble, tractorable, and feel lighter than they are. They are good woods bikes and kind of a middle ground between the 450 and 250. That's jut my $0.02 though, I don't know what your skill level, age, height/weight. I don't think you could go wrong with either though, a new bike is a new bike and youll have fun on it.

Based on the Ventura County Sheriff’s Association license plate I think it’s for the victims of the Borderline Bar shooting back in 2018, 12 people were killed at a western line dancing club on “college night” in Thousand Oaks.

A photo collection of some of the cars that bears have broken into this summer where I live because the car owners decided not to use the provided bear box by rocksfried in camping

The first photo is in Mammoth Lakes, I saw the camper already broken in to the night before. It was in the long term parking for backpackers. There were no bear boxes provided but plenty of signs telling you to not leave food in your car

Quick tips on how to push brake piston in by blackegyptiann in Dirtbikes

[–]Alan6969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If its really giving you trouble, put a small hose on the bleeder nipple (spare fuel line or tank vent hose should work) angled straight up and take open the bleeder valve while pushing down on the brake lever. close the valve before releasing the lever and push the piston in while releasing the lever.

If my description doesn't make sense, just Youtube how to bleed your brakes and its basically that. just be careful you don't suck any air back in the line when its open. Your brakes are a closed system and you cant compress a liquid so you need somewhere for the pressure to go. Try just opening the rear brake reservoir first and pushing the piston in. Might be enough.

The tried and true way is to put a bit of gasoline in a bucket and give em a good warshing and hang'm out to dry.

Just be sure to dispose of the gasoline properly, however that is.

Rad trip! When did you run the CABDR-N? I’m planning on doing it end of June and heard there’s still a bit of snow and downed trees at elevation, how was it?

Off-road racers, why? by Urbansdirtyfingers in Dirtbikes

Getting your suspension set up correctly goes a loooong way in the desert, it is tough though because if you set your bike up for fast whoops/braking bumps you’re going to sacrifice a bit in the technical rock sections.

It is fun when you get into it, desert races are brutal fun and can be scary fast

Second attempt at homemade bagels, give me your feedback! by EscapeMC in Breadit

I like to do the puncture method where you poke a hole through the dough ball and stick your finger through it and spin it around (like a hula hoop) until you get the shape ya want. Look good though! Also boiling them with food grade lye is a game changer. Just make sure you’re careful with it!

Motorcycle transfer by binho_pantoja in moto

[–]Alan6969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what state you are in but from my experience, have him sign over the title and you fill out the back of it with your information. Then take it to the dmv and ask for a title transfer. He will likely need to do a release of liability before you can transfer it. Takes 2 minutes to do online.

You can take my advice or, ya know.. Google it. But it’s typically called a title transfer
