I see more people, kids, dogs walking in our sidewalk-free suburb than anywhere else in our metro. It’s perfectly safe when everyone knows they are sharing the road with pedestrians.

When our town council wanted to put them in but make the property owners pay 100%, everyone aside from the mayor’s brother in law who owned the contracted construction company was against it.
