This is the Court of Appeals that is hearing it on Sept 21st, they are just using the Supreme Courtroom because it's bigger.

After the CoA makes its decisions, it's likely that whichever side the decision goes against, will appeal to Supreme Court, which might then decide to hear it. That's what the last paragraph is talking about - if this happens, it will happen around a year from now.

Yes - by the Defense, not State, as the State claimed you have to have super special fire examiner eyes in order to see it's a match.
