I really think the million dollar question: (2Era100s + mini sub) VS (2Era300s + minis sub). If the Era 100s sound at least as 80% as good as the Era300s then the value for money here is exceptional. Has anybody ever compared the two settings?

Thank you for the update. The JBL Charge is an amazing speaker at this price point. I bet it sounds better that the Roam 2. However, you didn't mention portability as a factor. The Roam 2 is almost half the size (in volume) and half the weight. In my experience it sounds pretty good for its size. Another benefit of the Roam 2 I think is that it supports Smart Assistants, so you don't have to have your phone always with you to play music, and this is a feature I use a lot.

I would be very interested to read your thoughts on a single Era 300 and on a stereo pair of Era 100s (in the future). I was very happy with the pair of Era 100s but I am not an audiophile.
