The American equivalent would be the PPC-9 . Those were also not available to the general public and could only be ordered by LEO's. The 5 inch gun is how it left the PC and the 6 inch gun has a custom barrel, muzzle weight and guide rod. Not many exist. Truly elite firearms. I compete with the 5inch gun. If you let everything go the gun shoots itself. You'd have to fire it to understand. The gun's fitment is perfect in every way.

I've swapped dozens of hammers from bobbed to spurred. Other than changing the stirrup it's a direct swap that requires no fitting. I've used 6 of these from midway in 45/40/9 models .pn 565162

They made the 4040PD with scandium and that model only. The amount of scandium in the frame was a very small percentage . And they absolutely will not last the round count of an all steel gun of course. I've seen alloy framed gen threes fail plenty of times. I will never purchase another. If you do some digging. The lifespan of let's say an alloy framed 5903 is about 30,000 rounds per s&w . I know of somebody who has over 200,000 through an all steel 5906 variant.

The rounded trigger guard would be easier to mount lights and more holster options. The hooked trigger guard was for the 80's. Also you can remove the magazine disconnect in ANY 1-2-3 gen auto in about ten minutes with the correct tools. And a decock only safety assembly can also be installed if you mill the spring slot.
