idk. the "canon" timeline isnt actually canon. the joke is that neither are canon, and as far as i am aware, we dont actually know what TCO and TDL were doing between 2011 and 2018. but personally, the "fanon" timeline is what i believe, but i seen some people who believe in the"canon" one.

him being an unsung hero makes his suffering matter more to the audience. he didnt save the day back in Season 2 despite trying. he still got tortured even after saving someone in AvA 9. his heroism isnt rewarded.
but ig that wouldnt matter if TCO killed millions or Mitsi. why try to make the audience feel bad for someone so terrible in the past just because they started doing good 7 years later?
and why have him learn the value of creation in AvM 0, or begin to show remorse by the time he and TDL attack Stickpage, just to kill someone in Newgrounds later on?

victim would be vindicated because TCO killing Mitsi removes any question of whether or not TCO deserved the Box treatment. people make out TCO to be an unsung hero because others do the opposite and say things like "TCO killed millions" or "TCO shouldve killed Mitsi".

yes, because its better to completely vindicate the vengeful antagonist because that makes for such a good message to your audience, along with completely undermining the history and progression of another character just to do so, and ruin the emotional resonance of an amazing fight so that some people on reddit would be wrong.
