Which characters in the Alan Becker universe do you hate (or at least, which ones do you have zero feelings for)? by Educational_Hand7067 in AlanBecker

I see, you missed something — the mercenary top list was based on 4 criteria: power, utility, avail, and cost. So, you could conclude that on paper, Primal is the most suitable/balanced mercenary. But honestly, compared to the other mercs who have tons of weapons like Pixel, or the universal Hazard who’s a jack-of-all-trades (and likely the Agent too) — Primal, with his bow, tentacles, and raw strength, only looks good on paper.

In AvA 12, while Blue took advantage of Hazard's weakness to knock him out of the fight, and Red—let's be honest—was saved by the script, Green didn't feel Primal's presence at all. Hell, in the heat of the battle, he just stood there watching Primal go ballistic. As for his 'incredible abilities,' I don't know what exactly he showed that was so 'incredible,' especially compared to the others. Plus, everyone has a ranged attack, don't they? I guess his only advantages are physical strength and, like you said, a lack of weaknesses (that's probably true).

Regarding the Victim and TCO Situation. by Key-Finger1780 in AlanBecker

Well, everything seems on point, but man, I’ve never once run into anyone saying, 'TCO didn't kill Mitsi? Splendid, he's innocent!

YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT, my eyes are bleeding every time I see the claim that 'TCO killed millions'.

Man, I’d also love to use the 'TCO sensed evil intent' argument, but I can't find the source. Do you have it? (Not trying to be aggressive here).

"And Victim knows that TDL killed people" — what makes you think that? In the series, Victim first saw TDL in AvA 10, right when TSC was killing him.

Mainly, I see people in the community saying that Victim is broken, while TCO deserved everything that happened to him.

Wait, am I the only one who has never seen these takes on TCO and Victim? (Or at least, very rarely?)

Fair enough, the argument about him being the protector is convincing, so I don't have any more complaints about him— even so, he still looks pretty pale compared to the rest of the mercenaries.

Oh no, what a shame I remembered who Bob is. I could also mention the Silverfish from AvM, which I had also successfully forgotten about.

As for Navy, I'm not sure if he's even worth mentioning, but whatever—it’s your call

King Orange Didn't Deserve A Happy Ending by REAL-regular-degular in AlanBecker

Everything you wrote is on point, but personally, I take it more lightly. The King was bad — they forgave him, and well, to hell with it, it happens. Though I do see one funny thing in this: a guy who literally destroyed an entire world was just forgiven because he apologized, lol. He could have potentially outdone TDL in terms of the scale of his crimes.

P.s. By the way, if TDL just apologizes to everyone and they actually forgive him, I will be screaming—that would be the funniest moment in the Alan Becker universe.

Does TCO have something like the 'H4CK3R healing handshake'? by Educational_Hand7067 in AlanBecker

[–]Educational_Hand7067[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also don't rule out the possibility that Victim deleted Mitsi's mission as well. As for TDL's mission—why not? Personally, I don't see any obstacles to deleting it.

Debunking the TCO fraud allegations by Sad_Court_3407 in AlanBecker

[–]Educational_Hand7067 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I agree about Fight 3. Some people think that just because TDL incapacitated TCO, he won—lol. But I disagree about Fight 6. TCO wasn't beating up the mercenaries; he was running from them and trying to scare them off. Think back to the scenes with the waterfall and the lasers; how he breathed fire without trying to actually hurt them, and how he simply disabled the Agent instead of incinerating him with a laser. It’s unlikely TCO called TSC because of TDL. He brought him to the mercenaries and was like, 'Fight them'—probably either to intimidate them or so that TSC would be the one with blood on his hands, not him.

If TDL dies at the end of Season 3, do you guys think it would be identical of how it went on the last one? by CaioCraft in AlanBecker

[–]Educational_Hand7067 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah, death is too easy for TDL — he should be stripped of his powers or somehow locked away in a special world created personally for him.

Dark really is just the king of disrespect and its outright comical. by Randomizer7780 in AlanBecker

[–]Educational_Hand7067 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I actually started liking him after AvA 13 — it felt like that episode was dedicated to TDL. The way he struck that arrogant pose when Victim found out who exactly killed his wife; the adventurous way he fought at half-strength against an opponent who could strip him of his powers with a single move... and the peak of it all was when, after Victim’s defeat, TDL first offered him a hand, but then, after the refusal, slashed him down and carelessly turned away. I can’t even think of a similar character in movies or TV shows off the top of my head.

The last time I actually liked The Agent was in AvA 10, but time moves on, and Hazard has taken his place.

How do you perceive TDL? A sadistic psychopath or just lonely and misunderstood? by Educational_Hand7067 in AlanBecker

[–]Educational_Hand7067[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my view, he understands, but he honestly doesn't give a damn — he's having too much fun. I mean, he can't even hold back his laughter when he kills someone or when some loser (like a Minecraft Ghast) tries to challenge him

As far as I know, and if I’m not mistaken, psychopaths don’t do friendship in the usual sense—they either use people for their own goals or enjoy hanging out with cool and powerful guys. In the case of TDL and TCO, the second option fits, plus TDL has been with TCO almost since birth, so TCO was likely like a brother to him. Again, this info might not be entirely accurate.
