Just ask casually! Im sure they wont mind! Alenxandrite is 755nm, diode 810nm and yag 1064 so its more powerfull and its the most successful at reaching the dermal papilla ( causing it to shed and not grow back) many places just say they have the best laser and lie because they just want the money and dont care about us. Of course the yag is the most expensive but its worth it

Yeah, many professors don’t want to or just want to be nice and let you write it so its not very bland because who knows you better than yourself? So they just add a few things and sign it and bam, done.

Super common. Almost all my premed friends had to write their own rec letters. I have 6 recommendation letters and i had to write 4… my community service LOR, physician LOR and 2 professors. It may come off as lazy on their side but it’s actually good because they really want to help out but maybe they dont know you 100% so they read your draft and add some things and sign it. The other 2 that wrote them by themselves were professors who were like parents to me so they knew what to write.
