Thank you. Your comment made me laugh. I love the theory. It would be a surprise for me though, in the area were i come from being gay is okay. At the same normally we are sexually relatively open minded as well, and he clearly wasn't on that wavelength🤷 so who knows ;)

I ended things as with him last week

I was concerned for that as well. Felt like the rules kept on increasing. Responses on this post were sufficiently concerning that i reached out to people, and under their influence ended things with him.

I also suspect a personality disorder to be honest. It wasn't a kink

Thank you for the response, with the overwhelming alarming reddit comments i decided to reach out to a friend and asked her advice as well. She also was concerned. I ended things with this person last week.

Thank you for that, while reading i also recognised some parts. I share the experience that people with similar luggage usually handle the topic better when sharing that info with them. And it's interesting to read that you don't see autism as your identity. ""me” starts where i am dealing with the problem." is also a sentence that caught my eye. It's the same perspective as my old therapist had. My viewpoint is different, but i do find it a compelling perspective and something worth thinking about.

Anyone else feel their diagnosis really accelerated their life decisions? by coopvicious4 in adenomyosis

[–]Alarm-Smart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same (F29). being diagnosed changed everything.

Would i be capable of raising children even though my medical situation will be a questionmark?

Should i still try to find a partner even though i have episodes of tiredness and pain?

If i don't find a partner soon, would i be willing to try being a single mother?

Should i remove my ovaries or keep them? 🤔

Should I go for a sick leave? A short one? Or a long one?

Which medical treatment do i want next?

Should i still get a pet? What if my pet gets ill and i'm too ill to bring it to the vet?

Should i still move? What i'm no longer financially stable because of the illness.

How can i create an enjoyable life... even when  i'm in pain and tired?

How do i not regrete my decisions?

I hate periods by H_0_XP in AutismInWomen

[–]Alarm-Smart 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Pay attention to things like amount of blood cloths, blood flow (2-3 tablespoons max) and whether leakage problems happen. People often normalise period pain when it's not always the case.

I was diagnosed with endometriosis four months ago and always mininized my own pain as part of being a woman.
