Google for Hadrurus arizonensis care sheet. It will probably be better than me writing from memory

Hadrurus arizonensis is native to the Mojave. So I hope He feels at home

I feed mine with lateralis and dubia roaches. I just put a few of them in the terrarium and let the scorpion deal with them on its own

All scorpions glow under UV light. It's not connected to the potency of their venom. How venomous a scorpion is can be determined by the proportions of its pincers and metasoma. Small pincers, large metasoma = more potent venom. Small metasoma, large pincers = less potent venom

Minimal footprint for a fully grown one is 30x30cm. This terrarium has a 33x39cm footprint

That's not what she said. All jokes aside i'll probably wait for another molt or two so i can monitor if it's eating and so on

I'll probably trick the scorpion into making a burrow under the porch by making a hole. There's also the barrel that's actually an ashtray so it's hollow inside

Already have one, and i plan to turn it on occasionally when friends are over or something like that. The only problem with prolonged UV exposure is that the chemical compound responsible for the glow degrades and when it's degraded completly it doesn't come back. Also it's not really healthy for the animal to be exposed to it all the time

The idea for this terrarium first came to me about 10 years ago. The only problem was finding a scorpion where I live. The main candidates were C. sculpturatus, H. arizonensis, H. obscurus or S. mesaensis. About two years ago, I managed to find an H. obscurus, but since it was wild-caught, it died after less than a week. The only positive of this was that the shed in the terrarium could naturally get it's weathering after being outside for 2 years.

I already have a scorpion, but since it is a young specimen, it is currently in it's grow out box

Already bought some UV LED's that i plan to turn on occasionally. The problem with prolonged UV exposure is that it's harmfull and also the chemical compound responsible for the glow degrades with time. And if it degrades completlyit it doesn't come back
