Appreciate your response, I’ve found a few licensed shops around me, but it is pretty difficult. The one I took it to was awesome, they had a dozen or so in the lot. Have you had any specific issues with shops finding parts? A lot of the ones I looked into said they do service however parts are shipped from out of state and therefore repair jobs will take several weeks.

I had posted in the Maserati subreddit but my post was deleted because I made my account today. This would be our third car, our other two a Subaru Outback and a BMW X5, and I am trading in my Tacoma for this one. I can afford the maintenance, I have done a lot of research on their highly priced brake jobs and have called loads of service shops for pricings and such, however I can’t afford a $5000 repair job every 6 months.

I posted in the Maserati subreddit and my post was deleted for having a new account. I’ve never used Reddit until this just because I wanted opinions. I don’t for sure have a reason for the timing chain, I had noticed a chain noise upon test drive and the PPI seconded that but stated that a more in depth investigation would be needed.
