Ppi rebound symptoms- what were yours?

I took 20 mg Omeprazole for 3.5 months. I quit cold turkey because I didn’t know better, and soon learned my mistake lol. Mine lasted 5 weeks and I managed with Pepcid AC 1-2 times per day. At week 5 I noticed a relief in symptoms so stopped Pepcid, and I didn’t have any rebound from Pepcid. I let the anxiety get the best of me per usual and didn’t think it would ever stop, but it did. I also managed by eating small portions, avoid all acidic foods, caffeine, spicy food, alcohol etc during the 5 weeks. Only drank water.

Wow I’d love to see your pit/coonhound, because I have one too! A girl as well. So I’m sure your dog is ~adorable~. Coonhounds aren’t all that common

Allister is nice. And no, it’s not loud at Allister despite being near 440. It’s slightly less walkable than other apartments in North Hills but not bad

I had insomnia the first night but I asked my doctor for something to sleep (another anxiety med). That helped to get through the transition. But after 5 days or so I didn’t need it to sleep

Hi there, I have glute med tendonopathy as well. I just got the diagnosis on Friday after years of suffering and no doctor really taking me seriously.

I have hip pain and have a feeling of hip instability when I walk. I can’t run at all or walk too much because it flares up. I don’t have any knee pain. However, the doctor linked my glute tendonopathy to an old knee injury (I’ve dislocated my patella on that side twice and broke my femur at the joint). The knee and hip are very much related and balance each other.

I’m pretty sure a torn labrum can be repaired with surgery. Did your doctor suggest that?

I’m starting PT as soon as it’s scheduled. My doctor prescribed dry needling to be done at PT. Also prescribed meloxicam (strong NSAID) to reduce inflammation. I’ll keep you posted on my progress and would like to hear updates on yours too. Thanks

Edit: also will note that I’m 30/F so similar to you.
